Spring dance highly recommended cement contractor and when they found out the the cement company slanted the pitch to have drainage going to the house, their associated Tamma laughed about and said paver and cement can be replaces and chimneys can be repaired. I got a call from Spring Dance Hot tubs today, and was told by "Jerry" that the owner has decided that they didn't want to sell us a hot tub anymore. Were going to cancel the order anyway. Spring dance Hot Tubs offered no support after they realized the extent of the damage. I am out $7500, need to do a lot of home repairs. The only comforting thought I have is that when a company treats its customers this way, they usually aren't in business that long. My only advise is for people to look at all the 1 star ratings and do research before they buy a product.

The sales person was very knowledgeable about all the hot tubs in the show room. We narrowed our choice down to one hot tub and purchased it that day. We had looked around some before going to Spring Dance and researched hot tubs on the Internet. We felt the price was good and the knowledge and professionalism of all the staff was also good. It did take a little longer than expected for the hot tub to arrive from California, however it was worth the wait. The installers were friendly, informative, and knew what they were doing. The electrician wasn't done with the wiring while the installers were there so we couldn't fire it up at that time. We had a couple of problems getting the hot tub working at peak performance, so we called the store and within a couple of days they sent someone over while we were at work, and it has been running great ever since.

I purchased a Hot Tub from Spring Dance Hot Tubs, Jamison in May 2005. First, they gave us a date that it would be delivered and then called us and gave us another date. We were o.k. with it! Then when the tub came, the closer for the lid was improperly installed. I called them and they had to come out to fix it. When they did that, they put holes in the side of the tub (wood area) that would eventually rot. I called them back about that. He said they would have to order new panels for the sides. Then, we had a problem with the Spadio (It was a joke - a cd walk man in a plastic case that hung on the side of the tub with internal sub woofer). I had a service call in for that problem, they came out and fixed it. Then I started having problems with the heat pump staying on. I would go out and the heat would not be working and the tub would be cold. Called the service department and they came out, they told me I needed a new circulation pump. They replaced that. Now, the tub is out of warranty and it has cost me over $800.00 in repairs just this year. They came out twice and told us we had hard water so put vinegar in the pump and plug the ends up with corks to keep the vinegar in that pump area to clean. We did that. It seemed to work but a week later the lights were blinking again. He came back out and told us he cleaned it himself and he had the proper water flow. He told me because we have well water I would need to put a cleaner through the hot tub (I could use a gallon of two of vinegar and it would do the same thing as a cleaner. I told him to just replace the pump because it was getting expensive to keep having him come out. So, he replaced the pump, told me to clean the 5 filters with a cleaner and run a cleaner through the tub so that it would clean all the piping. Also, he told me to order paper filters for the one pump filter because that one seems to get the dirtiest and I would get better water flow. I purchased two (2) from Hot Springs at a cost of $79.00. I followed his instructions and did just that. I emptied the tub Saturday, December 11 and cleaned it and the filters again, polished the shell and filled the tub. Placed the paper filter as instructed on the grey stem where the pump operates. Turned the tub on and the lights were fine for about two minutes and then started blinking again. I called them and they told me they wouldn't be able to get anyone out until December 17th. I told them my concern about the tubes freezing and the suggested I buy a ceramic heater and put it out there running until they can come or use a small lamp and insert into the inside where the pump is. I opened the bottom of the tub up and all the tubing was frozen. I called another Spa repair Company because I did not want the shell to freeze at this point and I didn't feel safe leaving a lamp burning in the tub until Friday, December 17th. I called another Company and they came out this morning but could not fix it because it was frozen, He built a tent around the front of the tub and has a ceramic heater aimed at the tub until it melts. He will be back tomorrow morning to fix it.
