The installers were very polite, punctual, professional, and eager to please. They went the extra mile to move furniture into and out of the carpeted rooms, all with pleasant attitudes. They were courteous and considerate, not wanting me to hurt myself trying to lift heavy items. They tore up existing carpets and padding and rolled and cut them to size so my garbage hauler would take them. They placed rolls of old carpet and padding at the curb for pickup. I didn't have to lift a finger.
The owner, Jack, in the office, was very pleasant and flexible about lending carpet samples. I had carpet installed within 3-4 days after placing my order. I am planning to use this company again for additional carpeting and also for hardwood flooring.

Carpet did not meet expectations for wear and durability. Less than one year after installation terrible matting down and pathing. Jack Forbes, owner, sent technicans multiple times to stretch, cut and work on carpet. Technican stated that we were one of 2 installations of this carpet with the same issues.
Carpet was professionally cleaned as inspector from the manufacturer stated that the carpet was not installed properly and was dirty.
After five months of working with Jack Forbes towards getting carpet replaced it was stated by a second inspector that this carpet was acting as it was manufactured. Jack Forbes than stated that he could not do anything for us.
We sued Jack Forbes and Jamison Carpets in civil court for the replacement value of the carpet. The carpet was sold to us for the exact reason of not getting matting and pathes. Jack Forbes guaranteed this carpet for the life of our residence. We won a decision for the replacement of half the value of the work. This was to replace the 2 effected rooms (living room and master bedroom).
This decision was appealed by Jack Forbes and Jamison Carpets. We have filed a civil suit in Bucks County court system as required by the legal process.

The first order of business was installing carpeting in our
downstairs family room/den. It was not until *after* the workmen finished and
had departed that my wife and I noticed three things that bothered us. First,
there were numerous spots where our freshly painted walls were nicked and
gouged. While we realize that accidents happen the workmen did *not* have the
decency to come to us and admit what they had done and offer to correct the
problem. It was left to me to spackle and repaint the walls. Second, it was not
until we were able to do a close inspection that we discovered numerous spots
where the carpeting was *not* made to fit flush to the existing baseboards.
Granted the gaps are not huge but they are noticeable and defeat the purpose in
a cold downstairs sitting on a concrete slab. Finally, and not their fault, the
area to be carpeted was too large to be done in one piece. Unhappily, and most
definitely their fault, the junction (seam) of the two pieces they used is unaesthetic
and amateurish.
The second order of business (done by a second crew shortly
afterward) was installing vinyl flooring in our first floor kitchen, adjoining
powder room/pantry and adjoining hallway. Unfortunately, many more problems
resulted from this work. First, insufficient subflooring was placed in the
hallway and as a result the hallway is now at a different height than the
remainder of the first floor. Second, the wrong flooring was recommended by the
owner of the company (a supposed professional who should know his business) for
the kitchen. Instead of recommending a solid floor that could withstand the
everyday/multiple-times-per-day movement of kitchen chairs across the floor we
were sold a flooring that is soft and yielding. As a result, the kitchen chairs
get caught in the floor when people sit in them and the flooring is beginning
to rip in various spots. Third, our powder room/pantry also contains our washer
and dryer. My wife and I were assured by the owner that the workmen would be
able to move both of those appliances and replace them with no problem. As it
turned out, there was a big problem. The
workman were unable to re-hook the dryer up properly. They shorted out the
dryer, burned the ductwork running from
the dryer to the outside *and* scorched the new flooring in three places in the process. They eventually stopped and
told me I was going to need to hire an electrician to fix the problem but
*never* mentioned that they scorched the floor nor offered a solution for that.
Granted the scorch marks were under where the dryer would sit and would not be
visible. But that's not the point. It was not until the electrician came in to
remedy the situation that it was brought to our attention. It was the
*electrician* who pointed it out to us.
We contacted the owner and he came back out to our house. We
showed him what his workman had done and told him we would not contract with
him again for the additional work which we had already discussed with him in the
very beginning if he did not do right by us for what was already done in the
form of money back or a discount on the future work. He looked us in the eye,
shook our hands and promised to see what he could do. After *two* weeks had
gone by and we had *not* heard from him we went to his place of business to
confront him. He again looked us in the eye, shook our hands and gave us some
cockamamie story about his installers being away on vacation, that he had to
talk to them first to determine a future discount and that he would get back to
us in two more weeks. What kind of BS is that? He's the owner, *he* makes the
decisions.
Needless to say, we *never* heard from him again nor do we
expect to. There is an old saying about letting the buyer beware. I am warning
all you potential buyers to beware. There are plenty of other more reputable
vendors of carpeting and flooring out there.

We called him and he gave us excellent service to make sure we got it done quickly because he knew we had a party planned for the following weekend. The workers came out and tore up the carpet and removed it so that the basement could dry. We are now still waiting for our basement to dry totally to have him come out and install the carpet.
