They're very responsive.  I give them A's for price, for professionalism, and for courtesy.  They're very good.  They don't spray for pests; I just use them mostly for termites.  My house has been infested in the past by something called Powder Post; they're Powder Post beetles and they get into old wood.  I have used them - you know, like, I just had them out here checking for the Powder Post because it kind of looked to me like they might have been active.  You can only see them from the basement, looking up at the floorboards.  And they said - they told me how to watch it and how to check, and that they couldn't see anything.  But that's a bug in the wood that you don't normally see.  Oh my goodness, I've been using them for probably at least five or six years; ever since I threw another provider out.  I like them; I think they're very reasonable; I mean, $90 a year. They might charge more now for newer people, but I've been with them for awhile and they haven't upped their prices since I went with them, and they also wouldn't take my contract until they actually treated the house, which was fine.  I don't see anything wrong with that because that gives them the assurance that they're not paying for ... My whole experience with them has been good.  Yes, I will use them in the future; I still have a contract with them.

The experience was very good.  They came in when they're supposed to.  I talked to the owner over the phone and he was very responsive in returning my call very quickly.  He did make an appearance although he wasn't here the whole day but he came to oversee the work which I personally like.  He even gave me a two year warranty in case they come back for inspections.

The exterminator did the termite inspection on the house during the inspection process so he seemed like a good company to go with for roaches. The exterminator left several messages saying he was earlky that I did not get and seemed in a bad mood when I did show up at the property on time. He sprayed the house and mentioned a 3-month warranty. When roaches were still seen on the property the owner, John Goldsworthy Jr., assured us that was normal, that they were coming out to die. Despite this assurance and despite the fact that the house was empty when it was serviced (the best time to spray) the roach problem only got worse within the first 6 weeks of living here. John called when there was a problem with payment (his bank had a problem with a good check I ave him) but when I called him back to try and get help with the roaches, there was no response back. I gave up and now am calling another company.

This company came out with the home inspector to check for pests and for radon prior to me buying the home. It seemed to go well and no active termite infestation was found. However, when I transferred the contract from another pest control company 5 months later from the previous owners and when they did an annual inspection, the other company found active termites in the garage (within seconds) with significant damage caused from years of activity. For starters, the entire door frame was like paper and the damage was even evident in boards that were stored overhead in the garage. I had the other pest control company treat the property at a cost of $500. When I called Blue Bell they said that I should have called them within the 6 month window and they would have treated the property at no cost (this I admit is a fact that didn't occur to me until after I had the treatment done) I was not expecting a $500 refund, I simply asked that the company refund my $75 dollars since they did not provide the advertised service to identify the active termites, and that by not identifying the termites I lost my opportunity to ask for that cash from the previous owners at the close. The owner of the company's response was to tell me that I had called too late and I had lost my opportunity to recover anything. He was not the least bit accommodating and is definitely not from the "costumer is always right" school of thought. I was disappointed that he wouldn't do the right thing, but most importantly, he missed very active damage that another inspector found within seconds of walking into the garage. Blue Bell's response to that is that he did not know the circumstances of the second inspection and that "there could have been boxes blocking access" when he was there etc... The reality was that the garage was completely empty when the inspection was done and you didn't even have to go into the garage to discover the damage on the door frame. Now I am thinking I should have another radon inspection done. Maybe they missed that, too.

Originally they said they found no termites but did a preventative treatment of the property. We found they did not complete the tx on the outside and had to call them back to re-do. A couple of months later we found two spots inside the house with active termites and they re-treated the house in spots. We later found more termites, called them and were told they were "harmless swarms" and not to worry. We did and got a second opinion which found extensive damage and active termites still. They are now not returning phone calls from us.

I am pretty happy with this company. They did forget the first appointment which wasn't very professional. Other than that though, I've been very satisfied with them.
