MARIANNE QUALITY CLEANING SERVICE

I had a worker come to my home in monroeville she was very nice and cleaned my home in detail this is the best cleaning service ever used and this was the woman’s first home she did with the company and I give her an A+ we paid 140 for services plus gave girl a nice tip for all her hard work ☺️ Would recommend this company to all especially the worker we had, she also called before hand to make sure we were still on for that day and she set up a confirmation call for afterwards highly recommend for anyone looking for an amazing company and work for there home.

This cleaning service is a nightmare. I paid $200.00 for one person to clean for four hours. Cleaning was not completed and person left with no notice. Cleaning person then texted/called nine times in three days to confirm future cleaning. Marianne was not receptive to discussion and challenged my report of the situation and contact - even though I could provide screen shots and proof. I finally had to block Marianne’s number and the cleaning person’s. The entire experience was bizarre and unsettling. I would never recommend this cleaning service to anyone.

I've used Marianne Quality Cleaning services 3 times. Most recently in June of 2016. The company is owned by Marianne Coyne. While the people she sends out to do the cleaning do an okay job, I have not had one person who hasn't spent most of the time complaining about her. She doesn't send anyone out to do an estimate on the job and will just give you a bid over the phone. This causes a lot of problems because if she underbids the job then the people coming out are getting under paid. I'm sure that she also over bids some jobs which means that the customers are over paying. In my most recent experience, I called her asking for a whole house spring cleaning, which also included cleaning the carpets in 4 rooms. After describing the house to her over the phone, she gave me a bid of $800. She then called up two of her cleaners and told them it was a 6 hr job and she would pay them $160. When they got here they immediately called Marianne and told her it was a much bigger job than she had estimated. She then called me and said she needed another $100 to do the job. I refused and they cleaned the house anyway but their actions and attitude made it very clear that they were not happy with the way Marianne was treating them or how much she was paying them. They finished the house within the 6 hrs that they were getting paid for but that also meant they only did a fair job and didn't do some of the things I wanted done. The carpet cleaner came out a few days later. He too complained that she was under paying him for the job. She told him that it was a $100 job but when he got here he said that he should have gotten paid $200 for the amount of work to be done and that he was losing money for doing the work. If she ran her business right and would have come out to look at the job before giving me a bid, it would have saved everyone a lot of frustration. I didn't get all the work done that I wanted and had to listen to everyone complain about Marianne. I also had to argue with her about the original price she quoted when she try to ask for more money. She bid the job at $800. She paid $180 to the house cleaning people, she paid the carpet cleaner $100. That means she made a profit of $520 but has lost a customer and will hopefully lose more in the future. I would not recommend using Marianne Quality Cleaning Services in Pittsburgh. She is not a trustworthy or fair business owner.

They were professional, they came on time and they did what they promise to do.

Went great....decided to have them every 2 weeks. I'm not there when they come...we talked and set things up. They called me when they arrived and reviewed job....wonderful to come home to a very clean, nice smelling home.

All the people they sent were not punctual and did not know how to clean properly. After the last lady that came, the owner said that she was going to send another one out and try them. Later we received a note from the owner stating that we should use someone else. We find this unprofessional and feel that this was a poor situation.

It went well. Appliances were cleaned, floors spotless, wall washing went well, (and it hadn't been done for years). Carpet also turned out as well a I expected (old rugs).

I was not present on the day of the cleaning but my mother was, she let the cleaners into the house, checked their work, and signed the completion sheet at the end. My mother was very impressed with the professionalism of the cleaners. She said they arrived early and worked quickly and efficiently. After completing one floor of the house, they had her check their work. They also pointed out a broken light fixture which they did not clean for safety reasons. At the end, my mother checked their work again and felt that they had done a very good job and had worked hard to clean our house. That evening, I was at the house and noticed that there was a light, smooth, dusty film on the hardwood floors and glass panes of the interior French doors. I was unable to determine if the same film was on the walls. After thinking about it for a few minutes, I came to the conclusion that the cleaning water must not have been changed frequently enough. Dust and dirt must have accumulated in the cleaning water and then been smeared around the floors and French doors and probably the walls as well. I moved into the house the next day and, since it became filled with boxes and furniture, it was not possible to have cleaners come back to the house to wash the floors and walls again. I have no doubt that the house was cleaner after Marianne s employees worked on it, but it could have been better. As I have unpacked and set up furniture, I ve had to thoroughly re-vacuum and wash every surface. A few weeks after the cleaning, I called Marianne to discuss the issue. She said that if I had called sooner she would have sent the cleaners back to rectify the situation but, as I said, I moved in the next day and that wasn t possible. Marianne asked that I send her a letter detailing the problem so she could show it to her employees. If I have a similar need in the future, I might contact Marianne again because her company was one of few that cleans construction dust. However, I would specify that the wash water needs to be changed frequently and I would be present at the house in order to make sure it was done properly.

I have been looking for someone to clean my house for 3 years. They are hard to come by. I found Mary Ann's Cleaning. They did an excellent job. Got job done on time. Very professional and satisfying. I got my money's worth.
