A two man team showed up on time and did exactly what was promised. It turned out beautiful and they were very professional. I tried on a few occasions to make this repair myself with no luck.

They quickly found the issue and went straight to work. They were done with the service within an hour. They were the only company we could find in the area that did this type of work. They were on the expensive side but we didn't have any other options.

Let me start by saying I joined Angie's list exclusively to write this review, which I feel is necessary after the terrible experience my wife and I had with Iovino's. When we moved into our new residence, there was an existing small leak in the hot tub in which we were referred to Iovino's. They were only in our area once every few weeks, so we initially had to wait for them to come out and service which was no big deal. Well, it took THREE attempts to fix the leak, each time we had to wait several weeks for them to come back out. Over the course of two months, three services later, the total of all the bills accumulated to $600 to fix a small, drip-like, leak! I was shocked, as it should not have taken all of these visits to fix to begin with. Each time I called to say it was still leaking, they acted surprised.. as was I.

Maria had called and left a message asking for permission/authority to run our credit card after the last visit, which they have to do prior to charging it since she specifically told my wife they would not charge her card without first asking for permission. I then left a message saying that I wanted detailed work logs for everything they did on each, specific visit, because their bills were like a hospital bill - no details! I could not comprehend this cost? We could have put that towards a new hot tub. Needless to say, instead of sending me detailed work reports, they went ahead and charged our credit card with no response to my initial inquiry. The next day, my wife had to go to the bank and file a dispute, cancel her credit card, and get a new one.

When I called to ask why our credit card was charged and why we did not receive the information we asked for, Tony Iovino (I assume one of the owners) told me, and quot;Well we did the work and we deserve to get paid.and quot; I agree - you deserve to get paid, but after you tell me what we are paying for.. When I asked him what was done on the first visit for example while we looked at the bill together over the phone, he did not know and had to go ask someone else. This is exactly why you should not have charged my card since you're not even sure yourself. His entire attitude was very argumentative, defensive, and far from being customer friendly.

Eventually, I had to tell Tony I no longer wished to speak with him due to his approach, and said that I had to file a dispute with my bank and to just deal with them moving forward. His response - and quot;Go ahead, I'll put a d*** lien on your house!and quot; Needless to say, I was completely thrown back by this threat? Is this an owner of the company? Is this how their family business is run? Yikes, this is where I had to call it quits.

All together, I have all of the documentation, emails, bank dispute, and we are still dealing with this nightmare to this very day. I will say that Maria was very nice, but the overall experience was down right exhausting. I would recommend researching other companies unless you would like to roll the dice with this one. We have since gone to another in Bethel Park and have had the complete opposite experience - a good one!
My ratings above may seem overboard, but they are accurate for my personal experience with this company on each specific rating.

The experience was very good. They came out promptly and took care of it. I like their promptness and they are knowledgeable on what needed to be done though they were a little pricy but other than, I thought they were very good. They had to come up twice because they fixed it the first time and something else had knocked out and replaced some other parts.

My Hot Tub went on the fritz, and I had no idea what to do about it myself, so I was at the mercy of a repairman. I called Iovino Tub and Spa and expained my situation and got a no nonsense idea of what the problem could or could not be. (Which is all I wanted).
Since it was very cold Patty advised me how to keep the everything warm enough to prevent further damage.
Tony showed up at the appointed time and after quickly trouble shooting the problem ordered the parts to repair. A few days later he returned with the new heater and installed the new parts and got everything going.
I am very happy with the outcome and will call Iovino when I need repairs for my hot tub.

Called for repair on a hot tub that was leaking and tripping the circuit breaker. Repair person arrived exactly on time and diagnosed and repaired the problem very quickly. Estimate and repairs took around and hour and a half. Would not hesitate to do business with them again and highly recommend.

The quality of their work was good and their demeanor was very professional. They were easy-going. I didn't have any problem with their attitude. They did well and even went out of their way for me when they reglazed the toilet. The toilet that I had gotten removed had been built against a tile wall.

Because of cold whether the tubes froze up, had to heat them up to establish water flow. Usually takes several days before service could be scheduled and performed.

The experience was great, done promptly and efficiently. The technician, Tony, was prompt, gracious and knowledgeable. He noticed that an approximately 36 x 36" area behind a replaced toilet had not been glazed due to the removal of the old toilet's tank. He glazed the area without any additional charge. His price was very reasonable. I had paid more than twice as much to have the same work done by the overpriced Cloverlea Kitchen and Bath Company. The job that the Iovino company was absolutely superior. I would happily use them again as well as recommend him to friends. He had been recommended to me by my trusted contractor, Roy Kramer.

Our experience with Iovino and Mark was excellent. We have a spa purchased from a spa show (not from Iovino) and the warranty repair person is in OH. The vendor insisted that we had to use that person in case the work was covered under the warranty. Paying for that person to travel to Pgh and back was not an option. Iovino was very responsive in terms of getting the appointment quickly, calling us back when we canceled the first appointment, and following up to reschedule. Mark was very prompt, polite, and clearly very knowledgeable. Given all of the work he did, and recommendations he made, we consider the cost reasonable. I wish we had called them sooner. We highly recommend them and will use them again if we have additional problems.
