I actually just started taking my dog and my cat to Dr. Lisa Findlay at Countryside.  She and her staff are absolutely fabulous!!  My first visit was with my Beagle.  She is 2 years old and overweight.  After a complete exam and yearly shots, they discussed options of how to help Peanut lose the weight.  I decided to join their Biggest Loser competition for animals.  And through exercise and a rx diet, she is well on her way to lightening up!
Next visit was for my cat of 10 years. She is not doing so well and we have since found out that she has advanced lymphoma. Lisa was fabulous in recognizing my concerns of making Mrs. Klaus comfortable for the rest of her days. She was quick to get me lab results. She is available to answer questions about progression. I know if Mrs. Klaus doesn't pass on her own in a few weeks, I will probably have to have her put down and I am comfortable knowing that I will be surrounded by caring people during the process.

I took my cat in because she had not been well. Dr. Stacy gave her a thorough exam but noted that we would need blood work to confirm a diagnosis. After discussing possible outcomes and necessary treatments (including costs of each of those), I left Belle at Countryside for bloodwork. Dr. Stacy called me herself about 90 minutes later to discuss the results. The problem was even more serious than she had thought. After a lengthy conversation about options, my husband and I decided to go ahead with treatment--48 hours of fluids and meds. Dr. Stacy called me the following day to give me an update--no change. The following day she called again to tell me that Belle was not responding to treatment and that she was in her last, painful hours to days. I asked her to put Belle down. Dr. Stacy was kind and offered comfort as I cried through the conversation. She never pressured me to do anything and was so thoughtful and accommodating throughout the process.
There were no surprises in the billing as they discussed costs of everything before I committed to any procedures.
I can't say enough about the care and concern of the entire office staff. When I called the next day to finalize details, the person who answered the phone even recognized my name and offered sympathies on the loss of our Belle.
Having only recently moved to the area, we didn't have a vet around here yet. I ended up at Countryside because my neighbor's vet couldn't get Belle in for an appt. I feel like it was the luckiest thing to happen. I couldn't be happier with the care at Countryside.

My dog was seen by Dr. Lisa for teeth cleaning. During routine blood work to insure that Sandy (now a 101/2 year old dog adopted from a animal shelter) was in good health, a health issue was discovered. The teeth cleaning was cancelled so Dr. Lisa could explain the problem and the choices for treatment. Without Dr. Lisa's prompt and expert care, my pet would have suffered from kidney or liver failure, unbeknown to me. She has received excellent care from Countryside Veterinary Hospital, and Sandy is now once again healthy and happy and running through the day lilies during her walks. We have used Dr. Lisa since she began her practice in North Huntingdon. She is professional, honest, and caring. Her staff is friendly and attentive. I put n/a for price as medical treatments/medicines all have a price, and I feel that Countryside Veterinary Hospital prices are fair and competitive to other facilities. Thank you Dr. Lisa and staff. I trust you implicitly with Sandy's care.

The cost of the tests were incredibly high. We had no idea it would be so expensive, until we got the bill. The cat was treated well while boarding with them.
