Job went very well, crew showed up on time, owner came to door and introduced foreman, explained what they were planning to do - had job done in a timely manner.

These guys were so kind, came out late in the day to take care of a problem that a storm caused with my roof, because the weather was expected to be bad that night. They gave me an estimate to fix the problem, that I felt was a great price. I'd had roof work done before so I had an idea. They had to find a replacement shingle for one that was lost, and found a match on a sample card so I didn't even have to buy a full pack. I will call them next time I need roof work.

All work was performed quickly and professionally. This is quite impressive since the temperature was extremely cold. And there was no mess left for me - none! I am very happy and will recommend Affordable Roofing to everyone.

Crew of about 5 showed up a couple of days after our request.  They actually worked on a Sunday.   The house has several steeply pitched roof sections and the multiple gutters  were stuffed full of leaves.  The crew worked very expeditiously moving the ladders around to get all the gutters.  The job was done quickly and all the debris that had fallen to the ground was cleaned up.  Although not much time was taken (20 mins?) the price was reasonable considering that the full crew was working.   We would certainly use this service again.

The owner is responsive and does the job well.

First of all, I believe that the previous reviewer did not understand how to complete the review properly because they wrote that they would recomend the company yet gave an F grade.
I was put in an odd situation by my homeowners Ins company. Someone from the Ins company did a drive by inspection of my house and determined that I had to have my roof replaced in the middle of winter even though I have never had a leak. After questioning the wisdom of their requirement given the time of year, I was required to complete the replacement or lose my Ins. coverage. With the timeframe being VERY short, I proceeded to get estimates.
Affordable Roofing was one of may different contractors I contacted to get estimates. They were not the low estimate, but gave me the promise of prompt service unlike the other roofers who did not want to call in their crews until the Mid April time frame.
I agreed to the estimated price and scheduled it for the first day that the weather here in central PA was warm enough. Within 2 weeks the temps were scheduled to be in the mid 40's for several days in a row so the plan was set in motion. Supplies were ordered and delivered the day before work was scheduled.
The crew arrived early the first day and promptly went at it. They removed the old roofing materials while the temp was still in the 20's and rising up through the 30's and once the temp hit the 40's which is the minimum suggested by the shingle manufacturer they completed 3/4 of the job on the first day. I was very happy considering the time of year and the length of the daylight hours.
The second day the crew returned around noonish so that once the temp warmed up a little they could finish. They were finished by 3pm.
I was so pleased with their workmanship and service, I gave the owner some extra cash over and above the agreed price to take the crew out for dinner.
The owner and crew were a pleasure to work with and I will not hesitate to use them again if the need ever arises.

the owner of the company came to my door and showed me samples of different typs of shingles advised me of what was required to do the job and how much it was gonna cost. we called him as soon as we were redy his company came over and completed the job in three days. the employees were very nice and were very eficient in completing the job. i would recomend this compny to anypne.

in replacing shingles their ladder broke loose the gutter downspout and they did not fix it back like it was, i had to fix it myself. The gutter hangers were poorly replaced after replacing shingles and they broke, bending the gutter causing rain to pour over the gutter at the bend and get in the basement. now i have a roof not leaking but the basement is. When contacting them they did come back to fix some shingles that came loose already the first week after completing the job but when told about the gutter being loose and bent with broken hangers they denied responsiblity and refused to correct the situation. I had to hire another contractor to fix the gutter. We picked up roofing nails around the job for a week after they were done. In their quote they were to fix a leak on a small portion of an attached roof but the first rain told us they did not fix it , we asked if they did when paying for the work and they said that part was ok so i had to have another contractor finish their job there also.
