Our toilet was continuing backing up to the point that the decision had to made to replace the toilet. He listed our typical usage and he said that maybe we need a power toilet. he described it like the toilets in a restaurant. It was great and now we have a high power toilet. It works pretty good. One thing that we noticed was that switching from the old toilet to new toilet, our water bill per month has gone from about 35$-40$ to about 27$ per month. Our water bill has constantly gone down per month.

They gave a pretty good price on it. They knew what they were doing. They seemed qualified. They knew what they were doing. The initial work is little bit to be desired, like drilling tile, or measuring an vent in the wall. Once they got started with it, it was fine. Whenever I called them, they certainly responded. I went to give them a check, and they were here the next day. They were one time. They did good work, and they seemed to know what they were doing.

He released all the asbestos and didn't measure correctly. The work that they did was good, it just was stupid to jackhammer through asbestos tile, and to measure correctly. Need to be more aware of elements in older homes, and look for tile with asbestos, instead of jackhammering it. They need someone experience with older homes. They need someone with an tape measure, before they start tearing it up. They were highly experience and qualified. They knew where to installed all the lines. The vent turned out very well. They spliced it into the existing vent, so that save a lot of money. They came when they said they would come. He discounted the job after I told him about releasing the asbestos.

I have a few properties, residential and commercial, that this company has done work on. None of the repairs lasted more than 6 months. They cleaned a clogged sink drain at my home. $200 and still clogged 2 months later. They won't come back to fix it. $1000 in repairs at my business. The regular plumber can't fix it, so they send "Foreman Joe". It's a simple faucet repair, and after I pay him $150 more to fix it (5 minutes of work), it is still broken. I send them video as proof that it's still broken, and he says he might come in the next month to fix it. During my final attempt to resolve this issue, "Foreman Joe" calls me a liar and that he would never give me my money back. I give up. Please, please, please, if you value your time and/or your money, stay far away from Sam Wexler Plumbing. We will keep you posted with our civil suit against this awful company.

They came out and wanted to charge me $180 for a job that would take maybe a half an hour and the parts that needed replaced I know only cost $10-$15. I refused to pay that price so they dropped the cost down a little. The tech did a good job. They are just overpriced.

The date work was scheduled for 8:00 A.M. I took off from work, got up early, did not see or hear from anyone until 10:45 A.M. It was bad news. Someone from the company said they had a "breakdown" and couldn't make it that day. They asked to come "tomorrow" and I said "that would not work as water was leaking into the basement and I would have to vacuum it up all day and that evening". I could not make them come so I had to wait for the next day. The next day two men came out and worked in the snow and rain but when my husband tried to get their names he found out that they did not speak English and could not communicate with him. They obviously were not plumbers in the U.S. because you have to speak English to take the plumbing exam in this state. They did the repair only for me to find out that it was a waste of money as the whole pipe needed to be removed - not just a section of it. So that was $3700 "down the toilet", as they say. In the future I would advise people to get 2nd and 3rd opinions, to find out whether it is better to replace the object or repair it, to make sure the contract is written to favor the house owner rather than the company, to ensure that the licensed professional has guaranteed IN WRITING to be on the job site and perform the job (rather than substitutes),to put IN WRITING  exactly what you want done and WHEN (so you do not have a company try to do numerous repairs while you are without electricity, water, gas, etc.), to have a multi-year warranty on the work if it is a major expense (because things usually do not go bad in a year's time) and those are my thoughts for this job and any repair work I have done in the future.

I called in the pro's after I looked at the old bathroom sink fittings on a house I recently moved into and found them to be really heavily corroded and not an easy DIY job.  In addition to the actual fixtures the valves on the supply lines were corroded so badly they coulnt be closed, so had to be replaced too.The appointment was the day after I called and the plumber showed up on time.  They have a standard rate for these sorts of jobs so he took a look and gave me the rate took off the Angie's List discount and then set to it.  As I expected it proved to be a really difficult job and the plumber was here about 3 hours, mostly trying to remove one of the faucets without damaging the sink and surroundings.    He eventually succeeded and installed the new fittings, cleaned up and left the place in immaculate condition.  As he said, sometimes these sorts of jobs take 30 mins, others an hour, but this was the first time it had taken him 3 hours it was so badly corroded.  Even so, he charged the price agreed upon before he started.  Plumbers always seem expensive, and if he had completed the job in 30 mins I would have felt I paid too much, but given the time and effort he had to expend on a job I wasn't willing to take on myself, I felt it was a good price.  I have used Sam Wexler several times in the last year and found them prompt, professional and proficient, and will use them again when necessary.

They cleared weeds out the drain and 2 months it was clogged again. The new company I called was Sewer Solutions and they charged me the same amount 150.00 but they had a underground camera system. They showed another clog further upstream. I've had no problems since then.

Sam Wexler was great- We had two other companies come out to our home and they did not have a snake that could reach the clog. We most recently used this company to video scope the lines out to the sewer which revealed tree roots. The service person showed me the video and someone came to my home the same day to drop off a dvd of what they saw for me to review. I am using sam wexler today for the lines with the roots to be jetted (cost $650 first three hours, $125 each additional). All staff I have spoke with and those that came to the home were very professional.
