Do NOT do business with this company!!! Nielsen’s Tree & Stump Service #215 659 6860 or 215 518 5841 Lenard & Connie Our neighbor hired them to clean up after the Winter storms we have had recently. I approached the husband and wife team because the husband was seen dragging branches over the property line and dropping them on my side. Before I could even get more than five words out both were yelling and screaming, telling me that “no judge would believe it” and I had “no case”. I was told to shut up several times. My adult niece who was watching from the kitchen could hear the woman worker yelling from 20 yards away. I asked for their company name and was ignored. I asked if the home owner was home and was ignored. After I spoke with the home owner and started walking home the wife again attacked me verbally and made obscene jesters toward me (I am 6 months pregnant) I again went to the home owner because the wife was not letting me pass by her without verbally attacking me. The home owner had to escort me home. This couple/company are disgusting people who should not be aloud on private property.

I called Leonard at Nielsen Tree on recommendation from our real estate agent. Leonard was very flexible with a bumpy schedule that included various date changes around other work contracted by the sellers. Leonard and his wife did the work themselves and it was very good. They were very careful with the house and very helpful in thinking about other projects we might do on the property. In addition, the price was competitive with or better than other companies. All in all, we were very pleased and would use them again.

Owner / operator in business about 30 years. Leon came out the same day that I called and gave me an estimate on removing the black locust tree which had fallen and also the remaining locust tree that was still leaning out across my property. They agreed to do the work the next morning. Unfortunately it had rained substantially during the night so they called and pushed back the time to 2 pm. so they wouldn't damage the yard. They arrived an hour early, bringing a chipper as well as a crane. They cut up and chipped the downed tree, trimmed and cleaned up the pine it had fallen on and then took the standing locust down using the crane. They had excellent equipment, a very efficient and professional crew and the trees were dispatched in about 2 hours time. I was totally impressed with this company and would recommend them to anyone in the area. A super experience. Definitely give them a try.

They were fantastic. They cleaned up everything before they left even if the job wasn't finished. They came back the next day and finished the work and cleaned up again. I was very satisfied with their work and their professionalism. They were recommended to us by a friend.
