They were excellent in both price and service. We had a free estimate and they were able to perform the work the next day. They asked if we would like to keep some of the wood for our fire pit.

McCreesh Tree Service came out to do the work within 4 days of the estimate. They were thorough, prompt, and cleaned up before leaving.

Gene was very responsive, he came out two days within contact, and provided a detailed estimate. The crew started the following week, and the tree was removed in an afternoon. The crew did a nice job of clean up, and also worked through a thunder storm. Definitely was a positive experience working w/McCreesh. I will definitely use them again when the need arises.

I called a couple of companies that do tree service to get an estimate for having a tree pruned in my yard. It is inaccessible to any type of truck mounted equipment and had never been pruned in the 35 years I've lived here. Scott, from McCreesh Tree Service Inc., came out promptly and gave me a written estimate (the only one I got in writing) that was a good deal lower that the others. They have a good Angie's List rating so I gave them the go ahead. It took a while for them to actually come out and do he job due to the fact that it had to be coordinated with Philadelphia Electric Company, since the electricity had to be shut off due to the proximity of wires. They arrived bright and early at 8 AM, PECO cut off the power, and they began the work. Just under two hours later the power was back on, all the branches and leaves had been picked up and ground up, my yard was raked and so were two adjoining yards. I had expressed my wish that more attention be paid to my neighbor's properties than my own but all three were very clean.

It went great although there were a couple old logs that could have been removed at the same time that weren't. A phone call asking if I wanted them removed would have been nice.

Scott was great to deal with. They very efficiently took down my dying weeping cherry tree, ground the stump and completely cleared the area - level with the rest of the lawn. I was completely satisfied and have recommended the company to others.

I was overly impressed with the professionalism of the workers. They took that extra step to make sure the job was finished correctly when done. They cleaned up and it looked as if not one tree was even removed. All this was done in a few hours! Amazing! Beautiful job! Well done! I highly recommend them to everyone who needs trees removed! The price was excellent too when compared to a few others I had estimates from!

I highly recommend McCreesh Tree Service. They were very responsive setting up the removal of 2 trees. They came when I wasn't home, removed the trees and I couldn't even tell that they were there. Also, reasonably priced.

Mcreesh is a fantastic company. Scott at this company is very professional. There was some misunderstanding on the scope of work and they cut more of my tree than I wanted but Scott was very courteous and only charged my the originally quoted price. I would absolutely use them again. Fantastic job guys

The experience was great. The crew showed up on time and began removing the trees. They were very professional, organized and very safe. At the end of the day both trees were removed and the stumps routed and leveled to grade. Everything was cleaned up and they even cut up some wood into 18" pieces so I could use for firewood.

I called them up for a quote on a tree removel .the girl that answered the phone could barley her me on my cell phone, I hung up and called back but .there was no answer so I left a message . I called three other times but the girl that answered the phone before would not call me back . I guess she got mad at me and has calleder ID . They were recommended by my landscaper and I see them in my area. I will not beg for a co to call me back ,and after three days I called another Angie's list tree removel co .

They came and trimmed back 2 pear trees that where producing fruit, but because the trees where so overgrown none of the fruit was edible. We didnt know why one of the trees had what looked like a blight on the leaves and fruit. They were very knowledgable and told us exactly what was needed and that after trimming both trees back next years fruit would be excellent. They were prompt, courteous and thorough. They took all the cut branches away and now both trees look much healthier. I will post an update next year on how the pear trees producing.

Excellent, Kyle Walters is fantastic, gave me a price right on the spot and scheduled right away. Called to tell me when he would coming out and when they would be back to take care of the stumps. Will use the company and again in the fall and would like to work with Kyle again.

Arrived on time as scheduled. All work was performed according to contract specifications. Excellent clean-up of cut branches and leaves.

They arrived on time,were very professional. I watched as the large tree came down, how it was roped and handled by the guys on the ground and how it dropped exactly where it was supposed to go. There was a truck load of wood chips that they were nice enough to take over to the next door neighbors driveway and place it there for their garden. They did a great clean up and actually came back the next day to take a pile of debris that they missed.

They were wonderful. I do remember the first time we used them. There was a coupon from Angie’s List and they honored that. They were actually very good. We would get them again and would highly recommend them. They were very nice to work with. I did compare their price with another tree company and they were definitely better. I just remember having to call them. It might even been when the price was quoted and I realized they had the coupon. I called them back and they absolutely adjusted it right over the phone. They were just very professional. They did a great job and they were just very nice to deal with.

Got estimate in the summer, mentioning winter 200$ discount. Scheduled for January, because of the weather we moved the work a little bit. Communication was excellent, manager was in touch by phone and provided good response. Work was done professionally by the crew with no damage to the house, very minimal impact on the lawn. Electrical wires running under the tree were kept intact (something I was worried about). My request to leave certain size branches for firewood was followed very precisely. I will trust this company in the future with my tree and landscaping service needs.

They were very professional, provided a very reasonable quote. Had good communication, the team showed up as scheduled. All the work was completed as agreed, and they did a great job cleaning up, even picked up all the dead leaves and branches that were around the two trees they were working on

I had received three estimates for this work and McGreesh was the lowest. I don't normally have confidence in choosing the lowest bidder but McCreesh had good reviews and Kyle Walter seemed knowledgeble and confidant. On 9/15/14 Kyle inspected the site and estimated the cost and gave me a proposal to remove a 90' Tulip Poplar tree with a 5' diameter trunk and a 65' Ash tree with a 40" diameter trunk. He called me to schedule the work the day before work was to begin. On Friday 10/10/14 Eight men arrived with several chain saws, a walk behind bobcat track loader and a large bobcat wheel loader and several trucks. This was a difficult job as the Tulip Poplar was on a sloped side of the property and the Ash was at the rear property line of the property. Neither tree could be reached with a crane or a bucket truck so it was all hand work to climb, rig the limbs and tree sections and lower them down safely and then move them to the street for disposal.. By the end of the first day the trees were down. The Monday rain postponed their return until Tuesday a smaller crew returned to remove & dispose of the trees and debris. They used the walk behind track loader whenever possible to minimize the damage to the lawn and only used the wheel loader when necessary to handle large sections of the trees. McCreesh's employees were all gentlemen and their foreman Victor was cooperative and always available when I had a question. I was very impressed with how they worked and am very pleased with the work.

They completely missed the original appointment and did not call to let me know. The person who was to meet with me had a family emergency. However, Gene (the owner) was apologetic and met with me the following morning. We walked over the property, talked about what needed done, and he figured out the quote and provided it to me before he left. The quote was broken down into many different categories: cost to remove each tree, to grind each stump, to trim each group of trees, and to grind the existing stumps. Then there was a discount if we had all of the work done and an additional discount with Angies' List. Even before the discounts, they had one of the better prices. We had everything done except grinding out one of the stumps that's in the corner of the lot. They finished everything in one long day (8:30-6:30) with a crew of about 7 guys. They did everything exactly as expected. We didn't talk to the crew much, but they were friendly when we did. The format of the quote was really impressive. We had a quote from another company, but they didn't break things down like we had requested and it didn't arrive in the mail until a few days after our consultation. It was great to get the quote on the spot and to see individual prices for each service.

After the initial call for an estimate, The service arrived on time and gave an estimate. After thinking about it for a day, we called and had the service scheduled. They arrived on time and completed the job in an excellent fashion. Had a very tall large slender tree cut down, removed and that stump was ground down to the level of the grass and an additional stump from a previous cut by me was also ground down to the grass level.

All work was performed as described. McCreesh Tree is a pleasant company to work with!

From the moment I contacted this company it has been nothing but a pleasure not a headache. The owner called me back to schedule a meeting while he was on vacation. The company was out within a week after I contacted them to do the job. No issues, I really didn't even know they were here but the sawing noises lol. From the previous storms we had many broken branches from our tall trees in our yard. This company came and removed all the broken branches from the tree tops and from the ground. They were quick and accurate and I will use them again.

There were 2 old stumps where the roots were in the way of the new sidewalk that needed to be put in. This company came out looked at the job and the next day was there to get it done. Very happy with the quickness and respect this company had for myself and the fact that it was not my house but a customer of mine. I thank this company and will use them again.
