Excellent workmanship and goo price.
Had a problem with the tub faucet that Diamond installed 4 years age.
Sent Diamond and email on 5-17-15.
Paul readjusted the tub faucet on 5-18.15.
Diamond Kitchen and Bath are wonderful.
The vessel sink and cabinet were mis-measured with regard to the plumbing.,Their solution was to partially embed the vessel sink into the surface of the granite counter top. Their mistake changed the desired design feature of the sink. In hindsight it was our mistake to accept this.
The bathroom light fixture needed to be replaced due to breakage by a cleaning person. I found there was no metal receptacle box installed behind the fixture...just a wire hanging out. I find this unacceptable and unsafe.
The toilet that was installed was a Caroma Adelaide, a very fine water conserving toilet. Except that parts are not locally available ( Weinstein AND Grove Plumbing supply) Embossed on the underside of the toilet lid is parts info and a parts number for a crucial valve seal.(M5 750017).....except the guts of the provided toilet are different from the embossed info...as if the toilet was canabalized.
Much of what they did was fine. The tile work was beautiful. However, issues continue to crop up and are not about normal wear and tear/maintenance.

Second time using Diamond Kitchen and Bath - this time we are doing the entire project with them ( master bath ) - We picked everything at the showroom - cabinets , tile , granite etc. - they made is seam so easy yet again - The design they came up with looks great on paper cant wait to see it come to life - ill post after the project is done - we will be starting at the end of the month - I will post comments and pictures when we are done with the project in January
My designer Mike came up with some great ideas. We were able to get so much more storage with the new cabinet design, it was awesome. I love my new tile and I now have a toilet that actually works well!
My installers Nick and Ken did an amazing job, they were always on time and did a fantastic job. I already had diamond do my kitchen in my old house a couple of years ago and I was just as pleased the second time around.
"I am confused as to the nature of this review. This customer’s job was started in Early August of 2008 and FULLY completed in September of 2008. The customer provided us with a punch list towards the end of the project, as requested. This is our standard practice, in order to assure that we don’t leave any loose ends and that we are all on the same page. We have a letter from this customer dated 9/16/2008 with these details. We received our final check upon completion, dated 9/19/2008. I am wondering why this customer made a final payment if they were so unsatisfied. It is our practice to leave the final check in order for the customer to feel comfortable in knowing everything will be done to their satisfaction. We never received a single phone call in the 5 years following this project. I can only assume they had a leak and placed blame on our work. It is incomprehensible how we were graded with all “F’s”. If the price was an “F”, then why proceed with the project? If the customer had issues with professionalism, punctuality or response time, then why wait 5 years to complain about it in an online review? We are a family business and we take pride in our professionalism. We enjoy making connections with our customers. If there is a problem, we need to know about it immediately so we can handle it accordingly. One of the things we are known for is how we handle any issues that may arise. We do everything in our power to make our customers happy. We are willing to rectify any issue, however we cannot answer to something that we are unaware of. For someone to grade us an “F” is an attack on our integrity, our years of hard work and dedication and our complete commitment to building a successful business. It is hurtful to us and to our families."
"This Project was completed more than two years ago. The project did take almost 4 weeks, however the projected timeline listed on the contract was 3 business weeks. Sometimes projects take longer than expected and this one did take 4 weeks. There were NO additional charges to the customer for additional shelves. We did charged them $155.00 to completely remove the medicine cabinet, crown molding and toilet wall cabinet and relocate them, Patch and paint the sheetrock. (One day’s work) at the customer’s request. The customer also additionally decided to install a shower door over the tub (One day’s work) That was not on the original contract. The project cost was actually $14250.00. The project manager was on site more than 9 times during working hours, the client may not have been home to see this. The project manager controls the installation crew and all clients are provided with his phone number. The showroom and design staff is not in communication with the installation crews. More than 2 years have gone by. We understand our clients have high expectations and we do our best to meet or exceed them. In this case we believe the work was completed in a reasonable time frame with very high standards and at a very reasonable price."
From the guys working the sales floor to the guys doing the installation. Everything was professional.
We would highly recommend Diamond Kitchen and Bath to our neighbors.
The medicine cabinet we ordered wasn't in when the contractor started the job, so he asked us to get the interior measurements so he could make the cut out in the drywall. We waited all day for a return call, and finally drove to the showroom. Kevin wrote down the measurements for us. Unforturnately, they were wrong! He was off an inch on each side, which made extra work for the contractor to adjust.
When we opened the box for the vanity, it was a kitchen cabinet. My husband called Kevin, who gave him a hard time and made it sound like we didn't know a kitchen cabinet from a vanity. He even wanted us to e-mail him a picture. We refused. He finally called the manufacturer, and later called us back and admitted that the item had been boxed incorrectly. He told us the new one would arrive the following Monday and he would call as soon as it was in. By 4:30 that Monday, we called him and he told us the vanity was in but he had been "too busy" to call us.
We asked Kevin if we could return any unopened boxes of tile. He said there would be a 30% restocking fee. He never took into consideration the fact that we had to make an extra trip to his warehouse to return the kitchen cabinet and pick up the vanity. Maybe we should have charged Diamond for our trouble.
When we ordered the quartz countertop for the vanity, we specified that it could not be any deeper than 18". The order form shows we ordered a 24 x 18 top. The actual measurement is 25 x 19-1/2. Again, the contractor had to spend extra time making adjustments for Diamond's mistake. We never called this item to Kevin's attention, because by this time, we dreaded any interaction with him.
Needless to say, we won't be making any future purchases from Diamond.
"Upon becoming aware of this review, I would like to respond to (member name removed) comments: (member name removed) was notified at time of purchase about the lead time of all products. The information about sizing was available on the internet and that is where Kevin got the actual measurements. Kevin responded within hours on all requests unless he had to wait for a response from a manufacturer. It is common practice to request a photo for reference. Most manufacturers’ request that we send a photo for proof of damage or incorrect labeling. All customers are informed before purchasing tile that there is a restocking fee. Because of the die lotting and the large shipping costs, this is a very reasonable and common practice. As far as the countertop is concerned, there is always an overhang, there has to be, otherwise water would leak into the edges of the cabinet. All Professional installers would know this and would have advised their clients about proper sizing. Kevin has been a very well respected and well liked employee for nearly a decade. As his employer I can personally attest to the praise that Kevin has received from his customers. This is the first time in all these years and thousands of customers that I have heard anything negative about him. As a company we understand that we cannot please everyone, however we work extremely hard to do so. The implication that we were not responsive is both hurtful and misleading. Every promise made to this customer was kept and they received all materials they paid for, in a timely and professional manner."
"I am not sure what this customer is talking about. In regards to the first issue. This was not really an issue at all. They selected a flooring product that was discontinued and we immediately presented them with replacement options followed by immediate installation. The labor for the whole project was done by Diamond Kitchen & Bath; the member’s report leads you to believe that this part of the project was outsourced. We are not sure why the project was rated as satisfactory/ good job/ very nice job. We as a company always aim to please our customers, and we are very proactive when problems arise. They were not charged for several upgrades because of the unfortunate (3) day delay in there project. The actual contract price of the project was $44,000.00. They were given approximately $1400 in no charge upgrades."
