The tech that came to the house was very knowledgeable. Friendly and Helpful in explaining everything to me and also helped me find the part I needed so I could order it. He cleaned up after the job and it looked better then before he arrived. The young lady I spoke to on the phone to set up my appointment was very friendly and professional. The whole experience was a breath of fresh air. I would absolutely use them for any repairs and I would recommend them to anyone.

Came on time with two men. It was a two man job! I had had problems with Sears appliance repair, so was expecting the worse. They knew what they were doing. I haven’t written this review for months because usually things again break down months after the repair. Not so with this company. Drum is working fine! I had gotten the parts from Sears and many companies weren’t willing to repair, because I had the parts. They were willing to help me. They didn’t need all the parts ordered, so some could be returned. These are honest, hardworking people. Later needed some different repair. (I love my washing machine and don’t want a new one). Second repair was motor and belt. Cost of the 2nd repair was $355.10 which was a fair price when I checked it.

The service man quickly diagnosed the problem, and ordered the part. When he returned, the replacement part was defective. With this happening a week before Thanksgiving, we feared the worst. However, Baker’s expedited getting another replacement part, and two days later we have a working oven. Thanks to Baker’s, Thanksgiving is saved.

I am under a service contract and Baker is the local provider. I have a deductible of $75 Our service engineer was top notch, but I forgot his name. He has been working for Baker for maybe 14 years? Says a lot for the company.

They were great, showed up when said, repaired the fridge after diagnosing and ordering the part. The only thing is the hours, you have to take 2 days off from work, one for the technician to come out and one for the repair. They only work until 3 pm

Mike from Baker's Appliance Repair is a very friendly, knowledgeable young man. He came in the expected time frame, he found the problem, fixed it, explained things, answered questions. I chose this company based on the Angies List reviews. Everything about Baker Appliance was professional, however I was never told that what I assumed would be an estimate was - in fact - a service call. This is partly my fault since I didn't ask the person on the phone if they charge for estimates. The guy who arrived spent no more than 20 minutes at my house, determining what the problem was. After a brief discussion, we agreed that the best course of action would be for me to just trash my washing machine and get a new one since the repair cost would be so high. He then charged me $85 plus tax (for a total of $91.80). I asked him if HE was the owner. He wasn't. And he told me that this is what they charge and there was nothing he could do about it. Maybe every appliance repair company charges this. I don't know. But they could have told me first what the charges were. If I had known, I may still have had them come out. I don't know. But "after the fact" is not the time for dropping this information on a person. A new washing machine - whatever the price - to me, is now $91.80 more than I expected. But like I said: this is partly my fault for not asking.

Could not have went better. GE hooked us up with this contractor to perform warranty work on glass that spontaneously shattered on the interior. Mike R. - There service mechanic arrived on time and performed the work in a timely fashion to my satisfaction. Would certainly use them again and recommend them to others without hesitation!

Was thrilled that he had the parts in his truck. Have used many other appliance companies and have ALWAYS had to wait for parts to be ordered. We called Friday morning around 9am. They were pleasant and gave us a three hour window. Arrived in about an hour found the cause of our problem, went to the truck, replaced the part, cleaned up and were out within a 1/2 hour.

The repair service showed up on time last week to diagnose the problem with the dryer, ordered the parts while still on site, and returned on 4/29 (on time) to complete the repair. They were prompt in diagnosing the problem, in ordering the parts, and in completing the repair, on time and on schedule. I have used them in the past and would definitely use them in the future.

Turns out all it needed was to be cleaned of the grease on front panel.

"The last repair for this customer was completed 11/19/2009 not March 2012. The repair was not $600 it was $365 +tax. We replaced the motor on a Thermadore Down draft. We were requested a few days after the initial repair to recheck, we did and at that time cleared excess grease from air switch. ( no additional charge ) Our records do not show any service calls to this customer after November 2009"
