The process went smoothly. The final color is closer to the surrounding wood than I had expected, and they were prompt, quick, and friendly with the service.

Mario - owner of AAA Floor Refinishing, is friendly, professional, extremely communicative and thorough. He has an eye for what would look best in a particular setting, and he makes recommendations that add beauty to a room. This was a bit of a complicated job, because the home was not empty and was occupied and furnished while the floors where being redone. Mario always had a good plan for getting the rooms done systematically with a conscientious effort to minimize inconvenience to the occupants. This was a theme throughout the job as we had to vacate and occupy areas of the home as his team progressed. With every step, there was communication, presentation of alternatives and flexibility. Mario maintains a very high standard of cleanliness and goes to great lengths to confine and minimize dust from the sanding phase of the job. His team cleans up every day, and does not leave tools, equipment or tarps scattered about. Equipment and supplies that will be needed throughout the job are stowed neatly out of the way after each day's activities. The floors LOOK FANTASTIC. You would be VERY hard pressed to find where Mario removed the stained or warped planks and replaced with new. Its clear when looking at the completed floors that he is truly a master craftsman who takes great pride in providing quality that will last for years. His mastery of the skills and art of wood working is astounding. If i could offer only one cautionary suggestion to those considering renewing your floors. This is based upon my own inexperience with the nature of floor restoration. That suggestion would be to give Mario ample time to do his amazing work. Restoration of floors to their true beauty can take a bit of doing, and, Mario, wanting to provide the absolute best for his customers, will put forth great efforts to achieve excellent results. Where I made the mistake was 'stacking' contractors with one expected to finish on a Friday, and the next starting on the following Monday with no lag-time in between. There was some unforeseen overlap. If I could do it again, I would have given more of a time-cushion between the two contractors (Flooring and Painting). That said, Mario handled the situation with expertise, grace and flexibility. He did not sacrifice the quality of the job in order to get out faster because he knew the painters were coming. I totally recommend AAA Floor Refinishing. You will not be disappointed if you call him. His responsiveness, and friendliness have to share the spotlight with his outstanding talent in his chosen craft.

A contractor who is punctual, reliable, reasonably priced, and does great work.  We are thrilled with Mario's work and Mario!  He was there when he said he would be... Called when he said he would... Running late-called.  We have had such horrific experience with contractors, kitchen, patios, handymen, painters, etc., that we were a bit leery of another one.  I cannot say enough good about Mario... I didn't want the floors refinished due to dust... there was very, very, little.  He is amazing!!! We loved him!
