Knarr's Plumbing & Heating

Shawn arrived late but had left two voice messages trying to get directions.  He replaced the cartridge without any problem.  He was also kind enough to advise me on two other issues involving a sump pump and well pump.   

He does a great job, and I think his prices are reasonable.  I've use him for about 25 years.

He is excellent.  He is very good.  He followed up well.  He was pretty prompt.  If he could not make it, he would call or be there another time.  We never had any problems with him.  I rate him high overall.  I recommended him to another neighbor and they were very satisfied with him as well.  I will definitely use him again in the future.

I never got an estimate before these guys came to my home. But all they did was some checking and the associate tested the outside part. It took them only approximately ten to fifteen minutes altogether. It didn't take two people to do this. I had no idea I was going to be charged $70.00 per hour for TWO plumbers untill I got the bill. I thought the associte was an apprentice and needed some experience. At first I just accepted this and was willing to let it go and just pay the guy. The more I talked about this service call over with friends, the more I realized , and my friends also said and agreed, that I was being taken advantage of. I don't want to make the kind of confrontation with Knarr's that will end up an argument that I'll probably lose, so I'm thankful for Angies List and this format. I do want them to know just how I feel about them. I'm not the type to just run them down behind their backs. Unless they have a reason why I have to pay an hours wages for two people to do the job of one, I don't believe the bill is fair. When other plumbers came to my home earlier in the year, ( I tried two others in hopes of finding one I can count on) I was billed fairly. One of them told me they do all kinds of repair work and if they can't do it they'll know someone who can. He said I could fix that for you now, but it wouldn't be fair to charge you plumbers' wages to fix those things now, so call me back later and we'll set something up. That's the kind of integrity anyone would want in plumbers or any kind of home repair people. I called Knarr's because when the problem was the heat pump, they had installed it and I knew they may have to contact the manufacter about my warranty. I'm contacting the manufacturer to find out who else I can call to help with my heat pump.
