It went very well. Jay was quick to return my call and he and Seth were at my house within a few days. They were quick, courteous and professional. They cleaned up any mess that they had made and we didn't have to do anything. They did what they said they would do when they said they would. I would strongly recommend them and we will certainly call them for any future projects.

I liked their work so much that I even offered them commercial work at the Factory that I manage.
The problems arose last year when I tried contacting them for some outside lighting work. I called several times and they never got back to me. I called them at least three times this year and they would not return my call. I asked them to at least be courteous enough to call me back and tell me that they were too busy if that was th case, but still no return call. I then went to their web site, and put in a request for them to call me. They still would not call me. I find this to be very unprofessional from two guys who I like alot and who's work I very much respect. I don't understand this type of behavior at all. ????????????????????????

I was very pleased with the work done by Zap Electric, Inc. The business owner, Jay Miller, responded to my questions at the time of my initial telephone call and scheduled an on-site visit for two days later. At the time of the visit to my home, he answered all of my questions, surveyed to work that needed to be done and gave me a price quote. The price quote was agreeable and I requested he schedule the job. As promised, he called me back later that week with a date for the work to begin. Mr. Miller and his son arrived promptly at the scheduled time and performed all services as per quote. They were courteous, friendly and extremely professional. Once the electrical inspection was completed, his son reconnected the hot water tank and reviewed all work done with me, including the operation of the surge protector and circuit breakers.
I would definitely recommend this company to others.

Zap Electric was excellent. Seth Miller came within 24 hours of our call to give a quote. Because the timing on this job was so dependent on the sunroom company's schedule, Zap coordinated directly with the sunroom company on timing and then communicated when they would be at our home to us, taking much and quot;busyand quot; work of being the go-between for two contractors off of our shoulders. Zap did the work in a very professional manner, they were polite and friendly, and the work came in almost precisely at what had been estimated. Overall, we are very pleased with Zap Electric and would recommend them to anyone.

Zap Electric answered an urgent call for a new business service that was quoted almost a year prior. Not only did they honor the year-old quote for the work but, he put us at the top of his priority list getting all of the work coordinated and finished in record time. And, even though we were not there, Jay was prompt, left the work space spotless and the building secure. I would definitely hire again and recommend to friends.

Zap Electric was a pleasure to do business with. Jay and Seth are father and son, and they truly work as a team. They always showed up on time and went to work in a very efficient manner. Very pleasant, easy to communicate with. When I asked for a quote for work to be done, or a change to the scope of the job, I received a complete, detailed quote in a PDF file via email (that's my preference). I recommend them highly, and I had them back the following year when I needed a couple more things done. Zap will be the first electrician I call in the future.

I was happy because they came quickly, did everything, cleaned up, and had good interactions with me. When they followed up they were going to give me the price of things that we’ll need to do in the future. I waited 10 days and called them back then they followed up about four days later with a phone call and they had everything for me. When the final estimate came out, it was about $2,000 and I wasn’t expecting that. I asked if we could do it in smaller projects but he told me that the local inspector would have to come out every time and it would add to the cost. I told him that I just didn’t have $2,000 right now and he was cordial about it and we left it like that. About four weeks later I phoned them three times because I needed something handled quickly but there was no interaction that day or the next couple of days. No matter how busy you are, you should make a telephone call. I left a recorded call where I showed him the gravity of what needed to be done but I just didn’t get any feedback so I went and got somebody else. I really like the gentlemen at Zap but he never called me so I am disappointed. The only thing I might have said to offend them was that I didn’t have the money to do the job all at one time. I called on them initially because they have good Angie’s List scores and I think the prices are fair and equitable.

Father and son company. Both came and worked. Punctual and professional and competent and neat.

They did a very good and professional job. Their price was reasonable and their quality was evident. I will use them again in the future.
