I purchased a home from an estate of an elderly gentleman who had passed. I had a home inspection done. I was given the results of a mold test done by my "Home Inspector". The results stated I had a significant mold problem in my basement. I contacted AIR TECH ENVIRONMENTAL the owner came to my home looked at the report and the looked at my basement and laughed, he asked did they test this basement as it is now and I stated yes the test was only 2 weeks ago. He stated that he saw no signs of mold, and observed that the basement appears to have been closed up for long period of time and was filled with dust. He advised me to clean the basement and air it out. I did so and removed all of the drywall and old carpet. in doing all of this I found a quarter size spot of mold. AIR TECH ENVIRONMENTAL did not charge me anything. He also advised if I encountered any problems to call him and he would advise me how to handle any issues.

Remediation was scheduled within a week, completed in one day with verification testing the following day. All went very smooth. We had to leave the house while the remediation was performed, but this was not a problem. I am moving ahead with the ventilation improvements. I would definitely contact Don again for future mold related remediation.

Don.... What more can be said, he's awesome. we had mold concerns in the home we just moved into. I called Don yesterday, he came out early this morning. spent a good 45 minutes explaining things to me, walking through the house and checking every nook for issues. He was honest and didn't try scaring me into expensive services, he gave me recommendation on how to resolve and didn't ask for a dollar. I felt so bad, I insisted on giving him money but he wouldn't take it. Couldn't recommend him high enough, very rare to get someone to be so transparent.

Very professional and was able to work within our timeframe/schedule for both the inspection and remediation. Don was very easy to get in touch with over both phone and email, and he was clear, concise, and patient when in answering our questions and explaining the process. The mold report was easy to follow, very descriptive of problems, and had clear pictures outlining the work areas with exact descriptions of what needed to be done. The drywall removal was done quickly, and the follow-up testing came back right on time. As an added bonus, the area where the work was done was left cleaner than it was originally! Don came highly recommended to us, and it’s easy to see why. We would absolutely hire again if we had the need.

Our home is on the market and we had a contract with a buyer contingent on normal house inspection. The inspector identify 2 small spots in basement and issued mold as a major inspection finding. The buyer immediately backed out for mold and we lost 2-3 weeks on the market. We were devastated as never having a water issue in our basement. We called Air Tech Environmental to do a mold check and Don Culp came to the house within 2 days. He promptly identify that one spot was efflorescence (not mold, not dangerous and normal for cinderblock), and less than 2x5 inches and not a issue at all. The other spot was less then 1 sq feet on a box probably caused by a spill, not on a wall and he indicated we could remediate ourselves as it was minimal and not an issue. He promptly wrote up a report for us to prove mold was not an issue for future buyers. He was knowledgeable, professional and informative. I would recommend him highly.

We just purchased a house and found it has musty smell. We thought there has mold in the house and schedule with Air Tech Environmental come to check. Don came to our house at the exact the scheduled time. He checked the area thoroughly. He is very professional. He told us there was no mold in the house, the musty smell comes from the dampness of the wall and gave us valuable recommendations for controlling the moisture level in the wall and ceiling. After that he even send a complete detailed inspection report for this free evaluation. We have three mold control companies to check our situation. Don put our fears at ease. He had suggestions for us, & he is just the nicest, funniest guy! He checked our home for mold & spent a lot of time showing us visually on his thermal camera that we had no issues. He was very thorough & I would recommend him to everybody. Just wonderfully! Don called me back quickly. He could tell I was worried from my message. He asked me to send him a photo of the mold area and was able to explain to me what to do myself. He didn't charge a penny! And, he offered to help more if necessary, after I complete all of the steps. Not only did he tell me what to do - he explained exactly what was happening and why we should address the problem in the way he instructed us. He should give lectures on customer service and accountability. I just can say enough good things!

While he didn't find anything wrong that he could treat he did provide me with information on what I could do to make the ventilation in my attic better. What a great guy. He could have easily told me that there was nothing wrong and moved on. , but he didn't. He took the time to talk to me about what I could do, sent me the recommendations in a follow up email and told me to call if I have any questions. Not too often you do you find someone who will spend time with you when there wasn't any work in it for him!!! Thank you, Don!!

Let me just say....WOW! Don was amazing! I called Don about an issue that was found during a home inspection of my future home. Don was helpful from the moment I called. He spoke to me in detail and set up a time to look at the property. All of which was very timely! I met Don at the property and he was professional and courteous from the start! The current homeowners were not very pleasant and Don took it all with professional stride (while making me feel better). He inspected the basement, made recommendations for mold removal, prevention and the source. Educating me step by step! He was so helpful! After the inspection, it was determined I can do the cleaning and prevention myself! What a relief! In addition, he provided the service as a free estimate. I learned so much from him about basements, mold and dampness. I will recommend him anytime! He is truly a man of his word and has integrity!

I contacted Air-Tech Environmental and spoke to Don Culp. Mr.Culp asked questions to gain an understanding of my issue. He came to the home site the next day and did a complete inspection for mold and moisture. He then gave a complete written report of his findings which included color thermal imaging pictures. I couldn't be more pleased with the promptness, professionalism, and thoroughness of the experience and would highly recommend Air-Tech Environmental.

Don was very professional! He met with me first to give me a very professional and informative estimate, then completed the work exactly when he said he would. He left the area mold free and ready to be rebuilt. I hope I never need to have that much mold removed again, but if I did I would certainly call Don at Air Tech!

Don came to inspect the bathroom and attic for mold. The bathroom was clear. Don suggested what was causing the mildew and the best method to resolve. He checked the attic and did find mold. He showed it to me and explained why there was mold in the attic. The mold was remediated. An independent company validated that the results were good. All of the people from Don through the independent company were punctual, factual, and willing to spend time to answer all questions. We had to leave our house for 6 hours during the remediation. When we came home, everything was clean and the house was locked. I would not hesitate to hire Air Tech again and recommend him to others.

We asked two companies to come to our church to give us quotes for mold removal. Don Culp represented the second company. He was friendly and it was immediately obvious that he was more knowledgeable than the representative from the first company. After reviewing the test results from a third party, he recommended that we not take any actions because none was necessary. He told us trying to clear the non-toxic mold would actually cause it to be airborne. We were surprised because this means he does not get paid. The first company gave us a quote that was quite expensive. Don explained everything throughout the process to help us understand why we did not need his service in this case. We will definitely use Air Tech Environmental in the future and will recommend them to our church members.
