Gary Lovell Asphalt Paving And Seal Coating

I had a great experience using Lovell Paving to replace my asphalt driveway. Don was super friendly and easy to work with. On top of that his quote was fairly priced and the work was excellent. I live in a tough location for paving and had so much trouble getting people to return my calls. I will recommend Don to everyone that needs asphalt work.

The work was very professional and the employees were very polite and let us know exactly what was going to be done and they did it in a highly professional manner. Mr Lovell was here personally and explained to us how to take care of the driveway and how long to stay off it so that it could dry properly. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

The father did the driveway. He did a good job.

The father came in and did the driveway. The driveway is absolutely wonderful. I paid them more money than I should have for how small the driveway was. That's not my complaint. They did a nice job. Then come in October I kept trying for months to get them to come and seal it. They kept putting me off and putting me off. So, they finally came. I guess it was November, it was late, and instead of doing it they used asphalt and charged me $150. The reason I know that is because Gary did it, the son, not the father, and I had a contractor friend ask me why my driveway wasn't sealed. I said, I just had it done and he said, he didn't seal it, he just put a layer of asphalt on it. When I found out I did call and left a message.

Crew of four arrived around 9:30 am after gathering their material for the job.
Work was completed around 5:00 pm.
These guys could not have been more professional.
They had all the right tools.
They were all extremely nice people.
No muss. No fuss. Great driveway that looks beautiful.

Great work.  A crew of 3 showed up at around 10:00 a.m. (about an hour later than expected) with all the equipment they needed to complete the job .  They worked efficiently and had the old driveway broken up and removed within about 4 hours.  At some point, one of the workers left to pick up a truckload of hot asphalt, which took awhile, but work continued while this was going on. The new asphalt arrived, was poured and compacted.  The surface was angled (imperceptibly) to ensure that the rain runs off away from the garage. Everything was done and perfectly cleaned up by 4:00 p.m.  They recommended that the surface be sealed after about 3 months.  I scheduled for them to come back in October to do so.
Gary Lovell Paving is a long-standing, family owned business that does a lot of work in my neighborhood, so I was able to get some good insight into this company in advance.  I was not disappointed.  I got quotes from three companies and this one was the best.  I loved the owner.  His sons and one grandson did all the work. They were hardworking, courteous and communicative.
FYI - I got the quote in late March - before their work season was underway.  They hoped to do the work in May, weather permitting, and said that they would call me a few days before they planned to arrive.  HOWEVER, the first week of May, with good weather in the forecast, I called them with the hopes that they could do the work the following week.  They did!  I couldn't have been more pleased.

He kept us apprised of approximate date, communicated well, and came when he said he would. They were very friendly and did an excellent job. The neighbors love it too!

On time and efficient and very professional

I called to get an estimate for driveway sealcoating, knowing that I had probably waited too long in the season (it is already October). Gary answered the phone immediately and was knowledgeable and friendly. He helped clarify whether I would need an oil based or latex seal, and then explained that it would really be better for my driveway to wait for the spring since the seal does not keep water out but rather is meant to protect against sun damage. I so appreciated his knowledge and clear, patient explanations. I will definitely call back in the spring to have him seal my driveway.

I have to say that this company was nothing less than perfect !!!!! From the very first
call with the estimate, they were courteous, timely and accurate. They came when they
said and DID what they promised. My driveway is fabulous...seamed and finished
perfectly !!! Aside from the professional job they did on my driveway, I can tell you
that I was treated SO nicely and good customer service is a thing of the past anymore.
This company still believes in treating a customer well and they did !!! My thanks to them
for making my dollar well spent.!!! I would absolutely use them again.
