They are done with this particular subdivision. They do have a few others in San Antonio. They use cell phones and I have a particular person that I am supposed to call. They have an online thing, where I write up issues that I have with my house, and they farm them out from there. It's a way to hopefully keep track of things. There are some things that aren't getting fixed, nothing major, they just aren't getting done. They are nice about it if I can find them. They had a warranty repair guy, when business was complete in this area, they were re-aligning things, and we got a new guy that has been taking on more work loads. The work load has declined, and they are starting to consolidate. They had 10 people in the office and now they have five. The new guy seems enthusiastic and has been responsive to most things. There are things that I don't get. We had a guy come in, realign some of the doors, and wrecked some of the trim in the process. We have not seen the painting contractor in months, so I have to get on those guys again. I have been out of the country and setting appointments are tough for any contractor. My son is working in an office and my daughter is working at the school, so they can't take a day off to handle these things. They have offices wherever they have projects going on. They are a nationwide company. They are in Austin and Dallas. I have Gerald Davis, he is the new representative. They give a one year warranty on the house, and they actually respond. It's not like when I sign the contract that's the last I hear of them, or when I talk to them, it's all talk. That's not the case with them. Things like painting the trim, they haven't been as responsive. It is a big job, and there's nothing major with the house. None of these things have cost me money because, they are under warranty. This is first one that I have bought of this magnitude. The house is sound. I haven't had any problem with the foundation, electrical, plumbing, or anything like that. There are somethings that I would have liked done better. I have seen better craftsmanship. Their sales team was extremely responsive. They had a lady that was on top of things, and she kept things straight. She answered questions by email and text, even on her days off. She had Thursdays and Fridays off. Invariably something would come out on Thursday or Fridays, and she would contact us. In some cases they were punctual, and other cases they weren't. The guys try to do a good job, have the systems, and do a good job as they claim they are supposed too. These issues are minor. I was in the military for 20 years and I want things done right now. I know that civilians don't operate like that.
