I called Mr. Das on the advice of another plumber who had provided service but did not have time to come and unclog a bathtub drain. I told him that the other plumber had recommended him and that the drain plug mechanism needed to be replaced. When Mr. Das arrived, he said he needed to look at where the drain came into the basement so that's where we went. Instead of doing that immediately, he looked at my sump pumps and showed me that the pumps were not working perfectly, then looked at the job his friend, the other plumber, had done. Then he looked at the drain pipe from the bathtub. He then came up and tried to unstick the drain plug, which I had already informed him the other plumber said had to be replaced. When he was unable to get it unstuck, he went out to his truck and came back in with a bill for $80.

He was very efficient and the rates seem standard. He came out to diagnose the problem and gave us the advice we needed. He then scheduled the follow up appointment to perform the work. It was fairly easy to get an appointment seeing as how the job wasn't an emergency.
