"Dear [member name removed] I reviewed our notes on your file. You had asked for a Saturday appointment due to guest coming for a visit. We accommodated your request also noting to you we would have to charge time and a half because you were not a regular customer. We also noted that we offered you a first AM appointment for Monday morning which would of cost less, you declined. We also time slotted our technician on your job slightly over an hour (72 Minutes) This was noted that there was a timely discussion answering all you questions (which we were very happy to do) and then also completing the repair. Thank you for past business, I will note and our system your information and promise to assist you finding another Plumbing company for your next emergency call. We are a small Family run business and like to call our customers family. This Review is very upsetting to me and I hope you have better luck in the future. I truly wish the best. Sincerly Owner Operator Darryl N. Barber"
We had problems with getting enough hot water from the oil heating system which uses tankless coils to heat the water. We did not want to try cleaning the coils because there was no guarantee that it would correct the problem. Our water never became hot. We called Daryl Barber Plumbing, and his son Chad assessed the problem. He agreed with our analysis regarding cleaning coils versus installing a hot water heater. Chad did not try to sell us on this approach. We had already done our research, and he agreed with what we found out. He did tell us that it was the most efficient way to go for us. Subsequently Chad and Jordan, his brother, performed the work. They had to disconnect the domestic hot water from the oil heater and cap the water lines going into the heater. They installed a 50 gallon electric hot water heater, added the necessary pipe to reroute the water, and ran the wiring to the electric panel. They also adjusted the oil furnace thermostat so that the burner would not come on except to keep the minimum temperature needed for that boiler. We were entirely pleased with their work and how quickly they got the job done.
"I would like to thank [member name removed] for her kind words. I would like to make a correction on the amount of the new HVAC system, the cost was $8,800.00. I believe she may of added a zero by accident. Again thank you so much. Darryl N. Barber"
