The service was excellent. RDN Plumbing sent their senior tech Gerry out to diagnose the leak in my shower. He was on time, courteous and polite. He was able to find the leak and repair it properly. He explained everything to my husband and I and even gave a demonstration to our children! The loved it! I would recommend RDN Plumbing to any of my friends and family and will definitely use them in the future!

They came out under a home warranty. He could not tell us why the hot water heater was not consistently heating the water and sometimes it is scalding and sometimes it's just warm. He vacuumed out the water heater and left. The overflow valve started leaking immediately so they came back a replace the connection. All told, we still have not idea what to do with the inconsistent water temperature and the home warranty refused to replace the water heater.

I've written a lot of positive reviews about companies. This is my first negative review. RDN Plumbing is expensive and incompetent. One of their plumbers came out and said he couldn't install an under-sink water filter I had purchased because it wouldn't fit in the space below my sink. He said he would have to charge me $90 for the visit, but that if I got the right kind of filter, they would come back out and perhaps credit my account the $90. I asked him to please let me know what model water filter I should order. After three days of trying to get this information from RDN, I talked to a manager who said that because they came out, the $90 charge would have to stay. I then called another plumber who came out and installed the water filter, with no problem. He charged me $160. I called back to RDN and spoke to the manager who said that when the plumber came out here, he unclogged the disposal. I agreed but pointed out he didn't do the work I had requested. He said that if they had installed the water filter, I would have been charged over $300. He said there was no way they would refund the $90. So, there you have it. Incompetent + Expensive + Poor customer service = I'll never use them again, and I recommend you avoid them at all (literal) costs. There are plenty of good plumbers out there. RDN isn't one of them.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I always read reviews and find them important so I want to warn others. We had a decent experience with RDN at first, but then on a recent valve replacement job that took no more than an hour (but cost us a whopping $600!), the diverter piece was faulty and did not work. We had to wait a week with a non-working shower for the replacement part to be fixed. I complained (very kindly!) to the company, saying that I understood it was a faulty piece and not the plumber's fault but that he should have tested it before leaving and I requested a partial refund. I normally test things before a contractor leaves, but I had my newborn baby with me and could not. For NINE WEEKS they kept promising to get back to me about a partial refund--which isn't a lot to ask given the circumstances--but will not call back or follow up. Guess they don't mind losing a lifetime customer over a couple hundred bucks. This shows the integrity of the company. So, you might have an OK experience once, but if anything goes wrong they will ignore you. Go elsewhere!

The first time was fine with them contacting us quickly and then scheduling to come out to fix the problem. My sewer was snaked and got the sewage flowing again. About two months later, the same problem happened except this time it is was a Saturday night at 10 PM. I was unable to get a hold of anyone from HSA and with two small kids had no choice to call out a plumber on my own since we couldn't run water. The second company again corrected problem and recommended their free sewer camera service to see if there is a further underlying problem under my basement floor that is causing the clogs. When the second company came back I was told there is a problem under my basement floor and drummed up an estimate to correct the issue. We then called AHS back in regards to what the diagnosed problem was and if it would be covered. The rep. from HSA stated the problem may be covered, but it would have to be re diagnosed by one of their contractors and they started another claim. We were assigned RDN again and this time when they called they were given a detailed description of what the problem was and what would be needed to give their opinion. A few days later they came out and the plumber that arrived (same one as before) had to call the warranty company and they determined that sewer camera service was not provided. So how and the heck would they offer an opinion. I guess they thought x-ray vision would be suffice. I put most of the blame on HSA for this but RDN should have known what was needed or when we told them about the second problem. They didn't even bring a camera so I couldn't even pay them to run the camera. I was billed the $75.00 deductible for a phone call and no opinion because they weren't prepared to give one. I then scheduled another day to have them bring the camera and give us a second opinion but later thought better of the situation and cancelled them. I would not consider them for any future work, but at the same time they communicated professionally and were on time and the plumber was courteous and even offered me the option of fighting the claim with HSA. I handed him the check and told him dealing with HSA would not be worth it for the deductible.

They were hired to clean out clogged sewer lines.  Their first repair job lasted three days.  Their second repair job lasted a month.  There will not be a third chance.

As always this visit was great.  RDN have been our plumbers of choice since we've moved into our house nearly eight years ago.  They have done many projects, big and small and we cannot recommend them enough.

He was very professional and friendly.  He went from one thing to the other and got it all done very efficiently without bothering us.  He even went the extra mile and fixed the other handle in the bathroom and set them right.  Tested everything when he was done to ensure no leaking.  Job well done!

Jerry and Tim were great.  They were professional, clean, explained everything they were doing and also provided great advice on maintenance of the system.  They were a pleasure to work with and I will use them again in the future.
Jerry was very patient in dealing with the home warranty company, who at first said the repair was not covered, calling them back when I pulled out the warranty which stated that the regulator was covered.
Note: the service was provided under a home warranty, so the price I listed was just our service fee under the warranty.

My family just moved back to the area and bought a  house.  The cooktop was leaking gas so bad that you could smell it in our entire kitchen and first floor.   RDN Plumbing came out twice to find the leak the asked me if I had a match so they could find the leak.   No lie,  2014 and they were using matches to find a gas leak.  They stated twice that there was no leak.  I just had the local gas company out yesterday since I was still smelling gas and they found the 1.5% leak immediately within 5 minutes.  They told me 4% is extremely dangerous.  With a large family with kids we were lucky the house didn't blow.
Needless to say, the were unprofessional, not experienced, and unqualified for this job.  I called the owner/manager and he literally yelled at me due to a disagreement of scheduling.  In my 20 years of being a homeowner, this was the worst experience I have ever had.
Worst contracting company I have ever dealt with.  DO NOT USE RDN PLUMBING!

I had used them once before for running a new gas line to my kitchen stove and installing a safety shut off valve. They did a great job. This time was no different. They were prompt, finished ahead of schedule, worked clean and was very helpful explaining how everything worked and why the ran the copper pipe the way they did. Can't say enough good things about each interaction with them. I highly recommend this company.

They arrived as scheduled with new water heater ready to install. Technicians were courteous and thorough. They tried to clear the drain and reported back the problems they found; made a recommendation and gave an estimate for the further work that would be required.
