It took 2 phone calls to get a response.  They said they would stop by and give me an estimate.  We never heard back from them.

Overall the job went very good. They cleaned up well after the job and their price was reasonable. We have used them before. They are willing to match any price that you get. They are very responsive.

I cold-called Delco Tree Experts and another tree service company after finding their names on Angie's List. This was just a few weeks after the huge storm and all tree service companies were still extremely busy. The other company did not return my call, but Mr. Pelkey called me back within a couple of hours and came out that evening. We discussed at length how best to preserve the trees, how to prune them so they would still have a natural, balanced look but be much more open so the wind would pass through the limbs, the extra weight strain would be removed from the tree, and risk to our cars and house would be minimized from future breaks. He offered to adjust his schedule since we had an urgent need to get the fallen limb out of the street, and we agreed that he would come back the next day to do the entire job. However, the next day the weather forecast wasn't great, but he came anyway to remove the limb from the street, which I greatly appreciated. The following day he came back again and completed the job. I wasn't home to "supervise" nor was that necessary. The trees look great - very natural and balanced, which was very important to me. Basically they look like they had a really good haircut!

The job was done quickly, efficiently and with great skill. It was hard to believe a tree had been removed as the grinding and their time arranging the soil made the ground ready to accept seed. The men raked up so well that it would have been hard to believe that so much work had been done. The entire area looked great. My house is sunnier, more pleasant and my oak tree looks beautiful. I would hire Steve and his crew at any time. They are great. They were very skilled. They worked very quickly but carefully. This was an all around good experience.

I found this company when I noticed them working on a neighbors house. He came down, gave me an estimate and was able to do the job almost immediately. They ground and cleaned everything up when the job was completed.
