The roots of Munz Construction actually started when Chris Munz was fourteen working for his father, doing everything. Several years later, at the age of nineteen, Chris went out on his own doing mostly roofing and siding jobs. That was 1985. Since then, the business has grown to include additions, sun rooms, basements, kitchens, decks, replacement windows, and of course, roofing and siding. The staff has also grown to over 40 employees, including Chris's mother and father. Through the years, one thing has remained a constant; that is do a good job at a fair price, and you will always stay busy.We'll do anything but pools!

Munz is a great company to work with. We had them do some work for us a few years ago on our bay window and were really pleased with the quality of work. When we needed some repair work done on our dormer we immediately called them. Tim did the work on the dormer and again we were very pleased with the quality of work. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done to their home.

The workers shielded the demolition area with plastic to help keep the dust contained. The fireplace and Blue-stone hearth were removed in one day. They replaced the damaged drywall behind the fireplace and sanded the joint compound to make the wall ready for painting. I painted the wall which was very smooth. They replaced the trim once I was finished painting. Another team removed the old chimney where it exited through the roof, patched the hole, removed shingles from the back of the house and replaced the shingles in front where the chimney had been removed. This was because the weathering had slightly altered the color of the shingles. I had a pack of new shingles and they replaced the ones removed from the back with some of them. All the work was done professionally with as little mess as possible. They cleaned up before leaving each day and the quality of the work was excellent. I was very pleased with the job. It was completed in 2017.

The team arrived on on time, removed the old steel framed basement windows an replaced them with new, Energy Star Hopper Style windows very efficiently and without making an undue mess. The unavoidable debris was removed before they left. While that was being done, the casement window was installed , again with great efficiency and very little disruption. The men were pleasant and happy to answer any questions I had. I was very pleased with the work they did. The new trim around the casement window was painted and the job was completed in April, 2019

The capping of the garage doors was done very nicely and looks very good. The replacement of the porch poles was a disappointment. The poles were replaced were not the right size and the contractor used caulk to fill large gaps between the poles and decorative trim. After my disappointment, the contractor promptly tried to correct the problem by offering to put a nice corner round molding where the gaps were. I agreed to this resolution, but was again disappointed when instead of the corner round, they cut thin pieces of off-white strips to cover the gaps. It doesn't look very professional. They offered to paint the strips to better match, but I declined and will do it myself. They offered to provide the paint, which I accepted. I left a check for them for full payment. You guessed it - they picked up the check but left no paint.

The guys came out and did a perfect job. They matched the stucco on the rest of the house very well.

Chris and his team did an exceptional job on a roof/gutter replacement on my parent's house. My parents were referred to Munz through a friend. We live in another state several hundred miles away and hired them basically sight unseen. I have to say their communication and execution were flawless. They worked with me to ensure they would be taken care of and the report from my parents during the project were the same. I will definitely use them in the future for any work that needs to be completed at their place.

Quality work. Munz construction gave a very competitive bid. He gave us referrals that we called which included neighbors and friends with same type of work performed. His team is very professional, courteous, and immaculate. The quality of works was exceptional. Chris and Erich (sales/project mgr) were always there for any questions, recommendations and changes that we had requested. Work was performed on schedule. Many of our neighbors and family complimented the finished product. As a result, my son contracted with Chris Munz to have his kitchen and dining room completely remodeled. I can't say enough about Munz Construction and their work. Great contractor and friend.
