First, I was very impressed when I could reach this company on a Saturday. I was beginning to have doubts about another company I was expecting to do my ceiling fan installation the following Monday since they were very evasive about the price range. Dan gave me a range and explained exactly what the work entailed during the phone call. He arrived Monday, on time, actually called 15 minutes before arrival. He installed a new ceiling fan in a room that did not already have one. His work was very neat``with no scratches or chips on my brand new freshly painted walls and he cleaned up the area when he finished. I am happy I found someone who does quality work and someone that I feel is honest and reliable and who has an excellent work ethic. I will definitely use Family Electric again and I highly recommend.

Family Electric was super honest and upfront about what I really needed. Instead of installing the junky security cameras I had prepurchased he helped me find great quality wireless ones. After discussing my reason for wanting to upgrade my electric services he clearly explained why I didn't need to upgrade my service just install individual lines to my equipment and upgrade the electricalbox itself. He easily saved me hundred of dollars in future energy costs. My equipment is running great now! Dan arrived on time for the job and completed it within the time frame he said he would (2-3 hours, only took him 2.25 hours) Highly recommendeed

They were very excellent. They did a good job. They showed up when they said they were going to. They did the work. Quality of the work was excellent.

I called Dan at 6pm and he was at my house at 6:30. He was very punctual, knowledgable, trustworthy and personable. He resolved my issue in a timely manner and I would highly recommend him again.

He taped up something inside my bathroom fixture and charged $85. He said it would hold forever, but it fell down 2 days later. My light fixture still does not work.He still has not come out to repair the work. I would not recommend this provider to anyone.

Dan is so professional and his worker too! They come when they said they were coming and are neat and they do the job right! I had another Electrian come prior and he did not fix the landscape light right and installed a closet light wrong. It is so important to have someone who is so good like Dan. All his work he did I have had no problems with and I called him a couple months afterwards and he helped me out with another problem and does not even act like your bothering him! So so helpful and I would recommend him to anyone! Best Electrian I have ever used!

The best! While one member of the team was installing the outside fixture, his partner installed our two new sconces in our dining area. They were fast, professional. The GFI outlet that they installed was far better that was expected. They were so good, we informed them as of the date of their work all of our electrical needs would be given to them.

Two members of the company arrived as scheduled after calling just before they arrived. Once at this location they immediately went to work. One member installed the sconces. They had to provide two support bars that were missing and did so not knowing in advance about this problem.

Meanwhile the other member began work outside of the front of the house installing the new electrical Outlet. To do so He had to cut into an existing circuit which he did professionally. Once that was done, he installed a GFI weather-resistant outlet with two outlets. The entire job took slightly less than one hour. There was n residue left from the installation of either tasks.

I was fully impressed with their workmanship and have now added them to my list of home servicers.

Really enjoyed working with Dan. They are very professional and know what they are doing. Job was done quickly and with very good quality. Definitely would recommend them to anyone in need of a good electrician.

Family Electric has been my family's electrician for a while.  I met Family Electric as a result of hiring an unknown electrician to do electrical work based on a referral from a friend (not a provider from Angie's List) and, unfortunately, the job needed to be corrected.  My husband was referred to Family Electric.  I have been with Family Electric since for all my electrical work since the first referral.  
Family Electric is a very dependable company.  The company has done a number of electrical projects for me.  This job was in a fitness studio where there was no heat or air.  Dan had already done electrical work in the studio and was familiar with the property. He came out, did an assessment, looked at what would need to be done to install a heating/cooling system where there were no ducts.  He ordered the unit, and when it arrived, he installed it.  This is a nice clean company.  The studio was left clean.  All trash and debris were removed. Pricing is reasonable and the work is high quality.  I highly recommend Family Electric for electrical needs, you will not be disappointed.

This was a "big" job.  It required complete separation of the studio from the rest of the dwelling, which meant that each line had to be checked in the main unit.  I wanted the studio to be a stand-alone unit with its own electric supply.  I also wanted to remove the old lighting system and install modern lighting. I had every confidence in Family Electric.  The job took one day. After the work was finished, all trash was removed.  I am very pleased with the outcome.  The lighting changed the studio's entire appearance making it look more modern with a lot of light. Family Electric is a very reliable company with excellent work and very reasonably priced.

It went very well.  Our old Zoneline unit had stopped after fifteen years, so we got excellent use out of the unit.  We ordered a new unit and had to wait for a month because it was out of stock.  The unit finally came in.  It was during cold weather, snow was on the ground. We contacted Dan from Family Electric.  He scheduled us right away, and within the week, the new unit was installed.

My husband was having difficulty getting on a ladder to change the flood lights.  He had paid someone to replace the lights, but decided that he could move the light down.  Family Electric had been referred to my husband as a good company to do business with, so we called to see if we could get the work done. 
Dan, the electrician, came out almost immediately and actually completed the work on his first visit. We were very pleased with his work.  We did not realize that he was a member of Angie's list.  We got to know the company through a referral.  We are glad that we did.

He came out and looked at everything, provided me with options on what the electrical problem could be and gave me quotes for what potential repairs would be.  He then grabbed his cousin out of the truck and proceeded to install my ceiliing fan.  He said the remote was broken, which was a real bummer since that is why I bought the fan.  He installed it without the remote component.

The interaction was good.
