1. We are NOT pleased with the type of customer service that we received. There was too much lack of communication throughout the project in letting us know what was going on. I had to keep contacting him. 2. This contractor told us they were qualified for city work and understood all requirements to install a new driveway. To find out they did not know when they opened up the street they had to fill it in. This was open for over 2 weeks BIG SAFETY CONCERN They did correct violations after the city went after them to correct the open street. This caused a BIG HEADACHE for us. This was another case of lack of communication on the contractor part not telling us what was going on and we had to constantly be going after him to find things out. 3. I made a mistake in paying last payment and extras before the job was completely done and inspected. My suggestion is for any contractor that you have working for you make sure you hold at least a minimum of 10% plus any additional or extras. Do not make a final payment until you talk to an inspector and actually know that it was approved otherwise you are taking a chance of them not coming back and fixing violations that they caused and then you have the headache with the city. 4. We also never got the concrete stamp that was to be done.

My initial estimate was for my sidewalk to be replaced. I did some research and was interested in possibly doing some stamped work depending upon the price around to the back of my house. The Vanic's came in and replaced the sidewalk and even picture framed it which I thought was a nice touch. I then asked for a quote on stamped walkway and shopped around a bit. I was surprised at the price but after shopping around and finding out that there are only two other companies in the area that somewhat do stamping. Mind you these two other companies did not nearly have the same experience in the stamp world as Vanic displays on their websites and social media. Vanic was no doubt the contractor to go with regardless of the price being more than I wanted to spend it was the best decision by far. The workers were knowledgeable and looked out for one another. Everyone was extremely polite and if I had questions they answered them without me having to bother Jackie. I very much enjoyed their presence at my property and learned alot myself. I have gained some serious respect for men and or women who do this for a living. It is not easy but they sure made it look like so.

When Marc came down and gave me an estimate he spent time talking with me about what needed to be done. One of the sidewalks that others wanted me to replace Marc told me that one could wait, there was just a little hair line crack nothing major and was barely visible. Others wanted me to replace I am glad I listened, that could wait till another time or when it got really bad which could be years. They replaced part of my sidewalk and walkway up to my porch. Jacqulyn was very easy to work with and she kept in touch with me on timing, when they would be there. When they did arrive they got the old sidewalk out and got ready to frame the new one. Once they poured the concrete and did the finish work on it my husband and I were so pleased with the results. I would highly recommend this company.

The sidewalk was beautiful, however, they did not clean up their materials and never repaired the 7-inch ruts in my yard that they promised to repair. They havent done anything about it and it has been a month!
