Two technicians arrived on time the first day and had most of the ceiling vents installed and placed the air distribution unit in the attic. Since the home has loose shredded insulation above the ceilings, the potential for a lot of dirt was apparent. They did as much as they could to contain the mess as well as the dust from cutting the holes in the ceiling.

The whole job took about 4 days including a new thermostat. Nine outlets were installed as well as one return air vent. All work was done professionally and without much grief.
The unit is now in and working well. I am looking forward to having a very comfortable home this summer due to the good work by the Hlavaty technicians. This is my second A/C installation by Hlavaty and I strongly recommend them for any HVAC needs in the Central PA area!

Hlavaty's has been taking care of many heating, hvac, plumbing and electrical service and installation projects since 1996 when they installed central air conditioning in my two story home. That project cost about $6,500. and the equipment has been working very well ever since. On that job their employees were prompt, qualified and completed their work properly. Over the years they have taken care of many minor issues at my home and have serviced and cleaned the air condition system.
Contacts with their office are always professional and they take extra care to communicate with me. Most recently they repaired an ususual and hard to get at plumbing leak in the ceiling above my kitchen. Their men took extra care to not damage my ceiling and found several leaks in the very old piping, which they replaced pain stakingly in a hard to get at area, with PVC materials. This job took two men about a day and a half and all was well and returned to original condition when completed. That work has never leaked since their installation and of course I will call them for any future work that I may need.
