Veterinarians
I have used the Hazleton Veterinary Hospital since the 1970's when Drs. Farleigh and Skelly ran it. It was fantastic. Now it is difficult to get an appointment, routine medications such as heartguard or flea and tick meds won't usually be sold without paying for a visit, the owner actually seems afraid to touch dogs but the final straw was shortly after I paid an enormous amount of money for a simple neutering, I asked if they could sign a lifetime dog license application verifying that a microchip was implanted in the dog. They actually have a copy of the chip code and data from the kennel where I rescued him. They would not perform this simple procedure without scheduling and paying for another office visit. I now take my animals to South Mountain Vet. Hospital where the staff is much more accommodating and professional.
