Since its beginning in 1996, Moving Solutions has been the leader in Senior Move Management. In 1999, the American Society on Aging (ASA) recognized the importance of this new industry and Moving Solutions’ role in defining and articulating its values, by naming Moving Solutions Business of the Year. Moving Solutions has been leading the industry ever since. In 2010, NASMM honored Margit Novack, Moving Solutions President, by establishing the Margit Novack Award for Outstanding Contributions to Senior Move Management.

We wanted an estimate for a move from our house to an apartment. We were especially interested in a company that caters to older people and which would move everything and set it up again at the new location. The representative who came was very friendly, socialble and well-informed. He made a good case for choosing his company. However, in the course of our conversation he kept mentioning his religious views and quoting the Bible. At one point, he told us a long, complicated biblical story to make the point about the honesty of his services. To us, his tenor seemed to be very fundamentalist and evangelical and, although he never specifically tried to convince us of his views, we had the feeling that, if we had given him an opening, he would have strongly pressed his religious case and even tried to "convert" us. Possibly he was just trying to relate to us, but his approach seemed to us unprofessional in the extreme. We decided to go with Sloane moving company, which also appears on Angie's list.

They were great. I'm am an eighty year old lady and packing all my stuff can be very difficult. They were very nice and there was plenty of strong young men to help with the work.
