Consistenty timely plowing of our long curved driveway without damage to flanking grass and shrubs. No damage to asphalt. Fair price. Strongly recommended for driveway plowing.

*** READ BEFORE CONTRACTING THIS COMPANY ***
It’s sad I must post this review but I feel it’s only right to let other potential customers know about this company and how they might (I must stress and quot;mightand quot;) treat you. Furthermore, the goal of my review is NOT revenge or to cause slander but rather provide a reviewer the opportunity to see another side of this company like I experienced today. I am not sure why they receive such high marks? It's my opinion their high marks are the result of either: (1) Customers never have to deal with the husband, who is part of the ground crew; (2) Customer expectation for service quality level is low; (3) Customers are desperate for help; or (4) Many of the reviews are just untruthful.
To begin and in all fairness, the wife who seems to be the front person and project manager for the company, was friendly and professional but the husband who is part of the ground crew clearly is NOT a people person. Maybe he was having a really bad morning or week? I don't think so. He clearly has an attitude and temper problem! He quickly became hostile and flat out verbally abusive with me today shortly after I asked one of his crew a completely non-hostile question because I had concerns further damage was going to be done to my beautiful and vulnerable garden. I was utterly shocked by his immediate hostile body language and attitude as he approached me while I was asking one of his crew members my question about a tool. Within a minute he was several inches from me and very hostile! (What's up with that?) At that time I asked him in a neutral voice to please back up. His wife clearly saw he was getting out of control yelled in the background to ask him to and quot;step backand quot; and to and quot;calm down.and quot; She seemed concerned about his escalating anger and abuse. I quickly determined from his voice and body language he could likely get physical. I also had enough of his terrible attitude and behavior. At that point, I told him this just wasn’t working out and to please leave after they were working on my yard for about 15 minutes at most. My request to ask him to leave further escalated his temper. It seemed like he didn't want to comply in which I explained that either he immediately leave or I would be forced to call the police. This eventually worked in which he then stomped around my front yard dragging debris his crew cleared from my garden beds and dumped it into the middle of my yard followed by throwing tools on his truck and slamming his truck door. While this was going on I was talking to 911 because I was concerned about my safety and I wanted the police to be there to diffuse him just in case he wouldn't leave or would come back. Angry tempers like that should not be taken lightly. I was truly concerned for my safety or what he might do. A police report was filed.
I am utterly shocked by this experience! I was left asking myself what just happened and why did he blow up so quickly? Followed by I can't believe he acted like that! Did I mention they destroyed many of my beautiful in bloom tulips (which won't bloom again until next spring), hacked off a third of my Russian sage bush (which grows on seemingly dead wood) and stomped on many of my plants? I didn't even tell them I was upset about all of that. I just asked them to please be a little more gentle with the plants. My front garden looks terrible in their wake of anger. It amazes me how much physical and mental destruction can be done in such little time.
P.S.
Now I wonder what they will say about my review or maybe me? I am willing to take that risk. Furthermore, I am sure they will deny everything and likely put the blame on me. They know they stepped way out of line. You should never treat a customer like that or anywhere close to that degree! I ask Angie’s List customers not to decide who was right or wrong but rather think twice before contracting this company. It could likely happen to them. Angie's List should closely monitor them and take immediate action if they pull this type of behavior with anyone else. The fact is there are simply too many other landscaping companies out there who provide friendly and quality service and will not even consider verbally abusing a customer. We shouldn't have to put up with companies like this!

Response from Misko Landscaping
"His wife hired us to do a job. It seemed like the husband did not want us there. He was agitated and annoyed with us and immediately ran out of the house when we arrived. Yes he did throw us off the property and we immediately left. We did not see any police."

The price is pretty reasonable. A couple of times, I have to call them back because I'm not sure if the work has been done. They were pretty responsive, very punctual and very professional.

My prior snow removal service left the business after three mild winters and I needed someone new. I contacted Misko Landscaping, and am I glad I did! We've had 5-6 serious snowfalls so far this winter with about 58 total inches, which is quite a bit for the Philadelphia area. Misko was punctual and thorough with my driveway and front walk, and his charges were not outrageous. I have recommended him to my neighbor, and plan to use him for lawn care services when the weather changes.

Marty and his wife Grace, are wonderful. After the major snowstorm we just had, Marty shoveled my sidewalks and two paths to my house. I first spoke w/ his wife Grace. She got the ball rolling. She is very sympathetic. I cannot recommend Marty enough to anyone who needs an honest snow plower. I had a lot of snow, and he only charged me $100.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Marty's wife. She was sympathetic to my situation w/ the snow. I tried to shovel the snow but was forced to return to my house. I could hardly feel my fingers. I called Angie's List and spoke w/ a super nice person. I called Misko Lawn Service, and Marty's wife said she would send him right over. Marty shoveled my pavement and the entrances to my outside areas. He worked so hard. I was very impressed w/ his work ethic. He was worth every penny that I paid. I highly recommend him.

They did a great job - plowed the driveway, shoveled the walk and by the garage, sprinkled an ice
melting agent.
I am outside their typical area, but they said if I don't need snow removal done the day of, they
can generally do my drive the day after the snowfall, which actually works fine for me.

Very responsive. Do good work at a reasonable price: snow removal, lawn mowing, hedge trimming. Reliable.

Their price is reasonable. I'm highly satisfied and I've been using them for 20 years now. I would say that from a routine stand point, they do a very good job and what stands out is that they're willing to respond to special requests on a timely basis. I find them to be very friendly and customer service oriented.

Called Misko Landscaping and requested a quote for leaf clean up. They asked for my information and in one day I received a call back with the quote as well as a time that the work could be performed. I called back with my approval and they came the day as promised. The work was exceptional. All the leaves and branches were taken by them. We even had a couple of large branches and they took those as well. I'm extremely pleased and would highly recommend to others.

I called Misko primarily to get someone to mow my lawn and maintain my yard on a regular basis. I also had a couple of projects I wanted done. I have a small yard, and I had trouble finding anyone willing to mow it. Misko returned my call immediately, and Grace came out the next day and gave me an estimate. It was very reasonable and they started work that week. I also had them install pavers along the side of my house and extending the patio in the backyard. They look great. They also built a raised planter bed for my vegetable garden. The work was done efficiently, quickly and punctually. I am very happy with the work and plan to continue using Misko on a regular basis.

We have found them to be very responsive and polite. When my 7 year lobbed a ball in the gutter - they were out the next day to remove it. All of the work has been excellent and they are nice to deal with as well.
