Shower valve body, 2 gas valves, 6 water valves.
Work was done well and within a reasonable time frame. He informed me of possible issues as the job progressed. He left no debris.
I contacted Bill Perna when I was remodeling my kitchen. He plumbed the dishwasher and kitchen sink. It involved moving the sink water supply pipes and drain pipe, installing a new supply line and drain line for the dishwasher, and installing an ice maker water supply line going to the refrigerator . Bill also re-plumbed quite a bit of copper piping in the basement. He installed new supply lines to the laundry sink and to the washing machine. He also added a frost proof faucet on the outside of the house. Bill was responsive when I contacted him and scheduled a time later in the week to come take a look at the work and provide an estimate. His price was much lower than the other two companies the provided estimates, so I chose to go with Bill. Everything went smoothly and I was satisfied with the work he completed. I will use him in the future for any plumbing work that is needed.
Bill came on time and took our "list" and went to each problem area and fixed it or if he couldn't he offered suggestions as what to do or who call.
Some of our plumbing problems weren't plumbing problems at all; they were construction or mechanical problems.
Over the space of two days, here's what was done.
-removal of toilet
-removal of vanity
-a channel cut in the bathroom floor to get at the drain pipe
-another channel cut from the sink to the waste pipe to get to that drain pipe
-removal of at least 8-10 bucketfulls of debris consisting of old tile and the wet bed beneath it
-installation of new drain pipes for both vanity and bath tub
Bill was thorough, professional, and kept me informed of his progress every step of the way. He kept the work area as clean as possible and made sure all the dust and debris was removed prior to leaving at the end of each day. After I get the new floor put in, Bill will return to re-set the toilet and reinstall the vanity. Bill's primary concern was to get the bath/shower back online since we have a half bath we can use until the floor gets done and we again have use of the upstairs bathroom toilet and sink. I cannot say enough about Bill's professionalism and how quickly he responded to this massive problem. I highly recommend him totally and without reservation!
Bill took the time to explan the cost of a more modern, 1 handled shower fixture but what I had was really just fine and would give years of good service. Bill also gave me an estimate for replacing a rather old toilet in my powder room which I plan on doing sometime down the road.
Bill was a true gentlemen, highly professional, and was a pleasure to work with. From now on, he will be my "go to" plumber for any more problems I may have in the future. I highly recommend Bill without any hesitation!
