Work done as expected

Frank LeVeque responded to my call the same day and came to check the broken dryer the next day.  He told me that the dryer was so old that he did not have the part needed to repair it. Using my laptop computer, we checked for the part but did not find it available anywhere.  Frank recommened a dryer similar to the one that had lasted so long and suggested a dealer he was sure would have it available.  I paid for a service call, no repair was possible.
The following week the washing machine broke down and I called Frank again.  He came out the same day and told me the transmission on the washer was shot and it would be more cost effective to purchase a new washer than to replace the transmission in the old model.  He also mentioned that washing machines are built with an 8-10 lifespan whereas a dryer will last considerably longer.  Because he had just been out to my house a few days earlier and this second call was also not a repair, Frank charged a reduced price service call.
