Very friendly and fair pricing, but 2 out of 3 times we scheduled to meet he didn't show up or call. I had to call him to find out what was going on. Tells me the story. Gave him the benefit of the doubt (the first time.) But then he did it again; waited all day and night for him. No call. Waited the next day to see if he'd call then. Nope. I call him 2 days after to see what happened. This time he gives me even more excuses, apologetic only after he could see I wasn't buying it this time. So he's laying the whole song and dance of excuses on thick, "Didn't I tell you I had someone quit on me last week? And this other job ran too long, and it's my daughter's birthday, and...." (none of this explains not showing up or at least calling. You're a business owner, come on. You have a phone with a calendar. He just keeps talking in circles. Fool me once...) Fair enough tile/grout work, but missed two major spots that I had to redo. They were total gaps of grout/caulk, one was where water flows at the bottom, right where the initial problem was; so if I hadn't caught it water would have traveled behind the new wall I just replaced for water damage. He also laid acrylic caulk on top of silicone caulk. When I questioned it, (knowing silicone only sticks to silicone, hoping he'd admit at least to making a mistake and be honest with me,) he committed to the lie and gave me a line how it's ok to do that. It's not. It's not going to stick. At this point I know he's better at talking than delivering. So I was polite and left it at that. I fixed the mistakes myself. Lesson learned. Never again. I didn't even intend on leaving a review, but between Angie's list sending me an email asking to rate Josh, and Josh hiding from me in Wawa last week (he knew he effed up) I figured I would. I already fixed the mistakes and rented out the house; otherwise I'd show pics. I was really hoping he'd be my go-to guy since my income property is now far from my new home. This was his audition. Nope.
