Worked here for 11 months and they scammed out of Health Benefits Dental benefits and 5 paid days off they clearly stated in their employee Manuel comes into effective after 90 days. After 90 days they refused to acknowledge the Manuel we both signed. Contracts mean something in this country if they can so bluntly change mine why wouldn’t they change the terms of yours

The estimator who came out was nice and returned a quote quickly. He was honest about a longer than usual time for supplies and installation due to Coronavirus so I was expecting a 2-month delay. The price was competitive so I hired them. My neighbor hired them about a week later so we were told our fences would be done the same time. It was downhill from there. As we approached the 2-month mark, my neighbor and I took turns calling to see when we would get the fences installed because there was no proactive communication from the company. A crew finally showed up at my neighbor's house almost 2 months to the day since I signed the contract. They installed my fence 3 days later. The fence looks good so that part of the work is fine. However, they tore up my front and back lawn with their machine, leaving large tire ruts and huge mud chunks everywhere. I spent an hour picking up leftover fence parts and nails, filling in gouges around the yard and reseeding where they had torn up sod. The lack of customer service and cleanup are what gives them a C. Spend a little more money and hire a company that pays attention to the details of customer service.

We are quite pleased with the job that Helm Fencing did on our front yard fence project from start to finish. The free estimate process was quick and efficient as the estimator was extremely knowledgeable about the various fence options, our township requirements and what would best fit our situation. Scheduling an appointment for the installation was a breeze, despite the fact that it was the dead of winter. The installers arrived on time and completed the installation on schedule, despite several obstacles, including a not so cooperative neighbor and a major power outage that occurred in our neighborhood while in the midst of the installation. We have received many compliments on our beautiful fence from neighbors and passersby. Even competitor fence companies have driven by and taken photographs of our fence. Thank you all at Helm Fencing for a job well done!

Just fantastic. The guys were on time, professional and polite ... and the job was completed perfectly. Correspondence throughout the entire process was great ... and they even took time to pay an extra visit between initial quote and installation to make sure overgrown shrubs would not interfere with the work (we had to clear this out).

Arrived on site day as agreed, did work quickly and efficiently without damaging lawn. Completed wok and came back to rectify any needed changes - happy with their service.

Crew showed up on time and was prepared. Minor issues with wrong parts from manufacturer, Helm did not charge me final payment until everything was complete and as ordered. Good crew and very professional.

The people at Helm were a pleasure to work with,they were courteous and patient , they worked with me in dealing with homeowners association, The workers did a awesome job, they were prompt,polite and were very tidy.Mynew fence looks great!

I could not have asked for any better service than what Helm Fencing provided. From estimate, to the completion of the job, they were absolutely incredible. I would adamantly recommend them to anyone.

We initially received a quote in 2016 from Joe Wagner of Helm Fencing. Having just moved into the house our initial idea for the fence evolved and Joe was happy to modify our estimate. We decided to wait until 2017 to do the install. Joe came out again, reworked the quote and helped us understand the impact of the choices we were making. The materials arrived sooner than expected and the crew was at our job the day we received our permit. AJ and Dave were very careful and conscientious during the install. The temperature was in the mid 90's on two days of the install and they never complained and always worked really hard. We did not have an easy install but the guys wanted to make sure we liked the end result. They did a great job and we're very happy we decided to go with Helm.

Helm did not write a readable estimate with a total price including new fence price + rock charge + fence removal = total for the job!!  
Then they came and installed the side and rear fence in the wrong place!  Side clearly marked by surveior  stakes and rear had neighbor fences as guides.  Side fence in 8 1/2 inches and rear 4 inches into our property.  
Then rock charge a problem because they said they could not give an amount since not known until dug...we asked them for an idea and again they refused.  We advised them to move both fences!  They agreed to move since their formans fault but not until we signed a new change contract with an extra $600 for rock charge.  Total was written on change contract with $4300 original amt + $600 for rock charge - $1500 deposit =s $3400.
Forman AJ threw phone at his work truck and tools around when he found out he needed to move the fences causing my wife to vomit from stress that Helm caused!  They moved fences but then never replaced bad boards on fence as requested!
Then after they had 4 business days to look over change contract they wrote up a bill for another $200 for fence removal and treatened collection action if not paid in 7 days with full warrenty revoke!
They tried to get more and more money every step of the way and also threatened to not finish fence if we did not pay overpriced rock charges!  
The customer does not come first at Helm and they do not know how to write a proper estimate!

We have an odd shaped lot. Helm came out & worked with us to find a solution that worked fence installed on time and as registed looks great.

It took several meetings to get the exact fencing needs see my salvation. Installation was conducted professionally.

I didn't like them at all. I wanted to have it done before we left on vacation because, we have a dog that we wanted secured while we were gone. It was important that we had it done before we left. I went with them because, they assured me that they could have it done before we left. Even though they charged quite a bit more, I did it for peace of mind. The time came for them to do the fencing, they called and said that I had wanted green fencing, they had acquired black fencing instead. I said that won't do. They said that they would see if they could get it. They could not get it and they came while I was gone which, was not part of the deal. They admitted to doing part of the fence but, insisted that it was my fault because, one part of the fence we have PVC posting rail fencing all around except, leading up to the house where we have custom made, Chinese Chippendale type fencing done. They did not do that part because, I didn't tell them specifically to do that part. I assumed that when I said that I wanted the whole thing done, that would mean the whole thing. It goes around the pool and is supposed to keep people out but, it's more to keep the dog in. They didn't do that, I was left with the old fencing. They did a portion of it, and they charged me more than the other company. Whenever something was questioned, it was my fault because, I wasn't specific on stuff that was obvious to me. They left a portion undone like the toppers on the posts. They said they were coming back and didn't come back when they said they would. I was so relieved to be rid of them. They did show up and did do it.

The crew came on time.  Performed all duties according to the plan.

Over the winter, the gate 'sagged' and they re-aligned it with no problem.
