They did extra work and also they're a little expensive but their work is excellent. Also they trimmed bush in the back which was really huge and they did a superb job.

We hired Willow Tree to prune some trees at our home. The owner, an arborist, came out and we discussed which trees needed to be pruned. He was a very nice gentleman and I felt confident in giving him my business. In fact, I let my neighbor know that when they come out they should see if they can remove a large tree she was looking to remove....which they did. If you are looking for a company that removes tress than i would have no problems hiring this company. If you are looking to have your trees professionally pruned...stay away from them. They "topped" my trees instead of pruning them....Look it up if you don't know the difference. It's an easy way of doing the job, terrible for the trees, and most homeowners don't know the difference. Instead of owning up to it, the owner made excuses and came up with 3 different stories as to why they topped my trees. Again, if you want them to remove trees...they did a great job, but do not hire them to correctly prune your trees. My experience was terrible.

They did a great job, including some additional work that my wife wanted to have done, while they were there. We have used Willow Tree Service in the past, and have always been happy with the work that they perform.

After an initial call for an estimate, Ian came out about a week or so later and was very personable. He said Chris would be better suited for some of our needs, and that she would be in touch after returning from a trip that week. He was also supposed to email me an estimate for the work he had felt comfortable with. A week passed and I did not receive an email nor did I hear from Chris. I decided to call the office again to alert them of this and express my continued interest in their services. I was told Ian would be reminded to follow up and that Chris still hadn't returned from her trip. Well, several more weeks have passed and I have yet to hear from either of them. I am a bit dumbfounded as to how a business can operate in such a way if they hope to secure new clients. I obviously would not recommend this company.

Chris was outstanding with her ideas and selection of shrubs for the designated space. The crew was also great with the general cleanup and re-spacing and mulching.

This entire experience was very pleasant. Their outstanding service was exceeded only by their price! Ian provided outstanding communications in providing an estimate and setting up the job. That day the work crew swooped in and started to work. They were very careful setting up the crane and their wood chipping truck in our driveway. Frank, Jose, Santos, and Victor worked diligently and efficiently in searing heat (a high of 97⁰ but a heat index of 113⁰). Their teamwork was amazing. It was like observing a ballet or a professional sports team. When they left it was as if they had never been there, everything was cleaned up. Thank you for your outstanding service. We feel much safer with that tree gone. And we will highly recommend you to neighbors and friends!

They did a really nice job with all of the plants, removals, and drainage they corrected.

I called Willow and several other arborist. I requested as soon as possible due to broken and dangling branches but the person I spoke with told me 4 to 5 days for an estimate, which they honored. They told my wife they would call me that evening and provide an estimate. However, I was never called or provided an estimate to remove my tree. Ultimately, I hired another tree service - Hometown Tree service and was very satisfied. Paid $900 for tree removal and $125 for the future stump removal. My tree was removed 6 days from the call to Hometown and only 3.5-4hrs to complete from start to finish - all other possible start dates were weeks away. All other estimates were in-line with hometowns price. Moreover, a neighbor was having they're tree removed same day by another service (same type and size), which took took days. Hometown was great!

These guys were great! They were easy to schedule with, professional and reasonable with their pricing. Their guys came out and got the work done in 2 days - record time! Our house looks wonderful, like brand new. We had a lot of old, dead trees that we needed to get rid of and our landscaping was terrible. We bought an older home that had been vacant for a year, so there was a lot of work to do. Everything was done in a timely manner and Ian and Chris were wonderful to work with! Thanks Willow :)

I apologize to Willow Tree Svc, as I thought I had written a review in the late winter when they totally removed a weather related collapsed crabapple tree in my front yard ($150). I called Ian McGuire in the summer, about a serious cut of my other front crabapple tree and back pear tree. He said to wait until fall after the bloom. He didn't forget about me. I never had to call to remind him. The crew also removed the stump from the past tree removal and seeded the ground! The crew is phenomenal! Quick, efficient, great teamwork, no messing around, and perfect clean up. I'm so satisfied (again). I think Willow's pricing is so reasonable, compared to other services I've used in the past.

Bob Willimantic gave excellent advice that helped us tremendously with replacing the fence and planting decorative grass in place of junipers. Will definitely use them again I'm future.

The business people were responsive from the initial request for an estimate to the performance of the work. The site team were professional and efficient and left my property in good clean condition when finished.

Willow quoted a fair price, showed up on time, and did an excellent job. I would use them again. In fact, this was the third time I have used Willow.

Our neighbor has used Willow Tree Service before and was going to have tree work done. We called to get an estimate for tree work too They were prompt in coming out. We called another tree service too for an estimate, who was several hundred dollars more and said they could not match Willow Tree Service price. Work for both our house and our neighbor's was completed on the same day. We were concerned with one large limb hanging over our house on one side and wires on the other side with little room to maneuver it down. It was no problem to do with their expertise. Compared to the 2 other tree services our neighbors used recently, Willow Tree Service seemed to get more done in less time and their clean up was better too. It was as if they had never been here. Not only did they grind up the tree stump but also many of the surface tree roots surrounding it. They were all respectful and courteous. We were very pleased and will use them again and recommend them to others. If Angie's List had an A+ rating, we would have given them that.

When I called to schedule an appointment, I was told that Ian was in my area, and would stop by later that afternoon to look at it. I was so pleased that he could come so quickly and give me an estimate. When he arrived I told Ian that I thought the tree was in need of trimming back, but Ian assured me that it wasn't needed at this time. He was extremely professional and honest with me. It is so comforting to know that there are people who don't do the work unless it is necessary. In a couple of years, when it will be needed, you can be sure I will reach out to Ian and have Willow Tree Service do the job. Thank you.

I have used them several times in the past and they have always done very good work for me. They're reliable, and very reasonable on their costs. They own their own equipment like specialized cranes that some of these other companies do not have so it's not as expensive. They're also really good about cleaning up all the mess after completion. I will continue to use them in future.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The office quickly scheduled a date for the estimator to come out. He arrived promptly, answered all my questions, and e-mailed the estimate. The estimate was thousands below other companies - they were able to get their crane in my back yard where the other companies determined that they would have to remove the trees by hand. The crew showed up as scheduled and after reviewing the plan with me, quickly got to work. It took 2 days to complete the work. It was a tight fit getting the crane in the yard but great care was taken at every step to protect my property. They were very thorough in the clean up at the end of each day. This was especially important to me because the one tree bordered on my neighbor's yard and the crew cleaned their yard too. They also spared my chain-link fence that was partially wrapped around the trunk - another company wanted it removed before starting. They willingly cut some branches for us to use as firewood and even neatly stacked it on our woodpile.

We met with the owner a few days beforehand to discuss the treatment options available to us (annual application versus three years between applications) and the costs. He provided objective information on the treatment. When we chose the treatment, he sent a person out later in the week to do the work and it was completed. We have used them a few times over the years and we have had nothing but excellent service and their quotes have always been reasonable. Excellent quality for a good price.

They did a very complete job. The Trimming and Dead-wooding was very thorough, and looks great. The tree and bush removal was done without damaging other trees and structures in the area. They completely cleaned up after all the work was done, and everything looks great.

Ed, the owner of Willow Tree Service did what he proposed on the contract, gave me an excellent price for the service compared to other Arborists that I had contacted. Very professional and pleasant he put my mind at ease about the job and shared his confidence and pride in his workers and their commitment to doing an excellent job.
