Excellent job

The end result was sensational. Their work transformed our home. And the quality of the end result was amazing. We had them back just once, and that was to tighten the kitchen faucet. Amazing craftsmanship. Stan and his team were wonderful. Every day they cleaned up whatever was required, and their attitude was top-notch. Communication with Stan was great. He got a sense of who we were and what we liked, and would present to us limited design options that were always within our taste/aesthetic. Of particular note, they were so **** nice to our dog. We were concerned about them feeling like Buddy was in the way, but they showed him so much affection. Really nice guys.

Stan and his team redid our entire kitchen. See "Spring Garden Kitchen" photos in the profile. Stan was extremely professional, always makes himself available to bounce ideas off of, definitely a perfectionist, and takes pride in his work. We were very impressed with his attention to detail. We were also impressed how after every day of work his team cleaned up the project site before they left for the day. They always made sure it was a safe environment in case our 5yo or dog happened to walk in during the evening when they weren't there. He always stays in communication throughout the project and wants to make sure you are pleased. We couldn't be happier with our new kitchen! Stan is someone you can trust. I would recommend Stan and his team for any home project. In fact, we are already in discussion for another project in our house after our great experience.

Custom Home Mechanics did a fantastic job on our bathroom remodel. Stan was very helpful in planning the project, walking us through the process and quantifying supplies we would need. He had some great ideas and provided feedback as we shopped. The team did beautiful work, and they were very friendly and respectful. I was completely comfortable having them in my house while I was there or away. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely work with them again.

Stan was great.  We first met late in the summer to discuss our desires for renovating our two full bathrooms.  He came out to our house and we discussed ideas, providing a formal quote a few days later.  Once we decided to move forward with Stan, he added us to his schedule, with work commencing in early November.  We did the bathrooms sequentially so that we would not be without a bathroom.  The first one finished right before Thanksgiving, and the second one ran most of December.  Both bathrooms required complete wall demolition (they were the old 1980's tile halfway up the wall) and removal of all fixtures (except for the bathtub, which we kept).  Stan's guys were incredibly courteous, friendly, and professional.  My kids loved having them around and they were very engaging of the kids.  They kept the house as clean as is reasonable for such a major renovation.  Stan worked with us to keep the price within our budget but also identify high quality materials and fixtures to make sure the bathrooms had a modern, high-end feel, while simultaneously maximizing the relatively small spaces they take up.  For example, during the demo, they found about a foot of unused dead space in the wall, enabling us to go from having a 39" shower to a 48" shower.  He worked with the quirks of the house to make sure everything is built well and solidly (rebuilding a floor that was unsupported and framing a medicine cabinet that didn't fit fully in the wall, for example).  Stan attended to every detail and concern that we raised to make sure we were completely satisfied with how the bathrooms turned out, and that's exactly what we are: completely satisfied.  We would highly recommend Custom Home Mechanics!

Before the project began I was in communication with Stan about details. He always responded within the same day or by the next day. When the work began Stan and crew were timely and professional. Stan truly wants the customer to love the end result. While installing my new plumbing he added shut off valves where they were missing, no additional charge. Stan worked with me and did not nickel and dime me. I will use them for future projects.

He did not follow up with his promise to deliver drawings within the week (3 weeks and 3 calls later)
I was not impressed with the drawings (just plain CAD/CAM drawing). 3D just meant drawn from a perspective - only paper drawings.
The design did not offer much more than my own imagination provides
