He likes them, we go there all the time. I would use them again.

I had two low tread tires replaced today and had two tires replaced over a year ago.  Both my experiences went very well.  I like "walk-in" tire replacement places, but not Walmart or the big name places that you see everywhere.  Tire Mart is a local business, family owned, many years in the area, and I know what to expect when I go there.  Even though I don't live on the East side of the Susquehanna any longer, I will continue to visit Tire Mart for all my tire purchases.  Also, no hidden fees there and they offer a AAA discount!!

I drive an old car with very high miles. They could easily have told me many things were wrong and needed replaced or worked on. They, as always, were cordial, and true to their AAA certification, were honest and reliable. They told me my car was as safe as they could tell for the trip, giving me the confidence to drive 775 miles round trip in my old car (on tires I bought from them previously, that they recently rebalanced for me, free of charge). I took my 02 Ford Explorer to them for the annual emissions and state inspection. I told the desk clerks NOT to do anything to my vehicle until they CALLED me with any repairs that were necessary for inspection of the vehicle. I dropped it off early, by 11 am I received a phone call from the service rep telling me that my vehicle needed approx $1400-$1500 worth of work to pass inspection!! I was in shock, as I went over the vehicle briefly and knew the repair history of the SUV and knew it wasn't going to need anything major, if anything. The list he gave was as follows: Front brake pads, rear ebrake shoes and rotors, upper control arms (2), and both rear wheel bearings. I told the guy not to do ANYTHING to my SUV and I was picking it up to take it for a second opinion. I knew I had already recently repaired at least half of the items on their list!
I picked up the SUV, took it to my regular repair shop and they went over the vehicle thoroughly. Paying close attention to the list of recommended repairs from Tire Mart. They called me to tell me my car was finished and the bill was only $245. I was so surprised! They were livid with Tire Mart. Said they see this crap happen all the time and that shops like Tire Mart should be closed down for falsely billing people for things that don't need replaced. My regular shop was pleased to tell me that my car only needed a ball joint and that NOTHING on the list from TIRE MART even needed repaired.
Tire Mart even has the nerve to send me a bill for Emissions testing. After i told them to do NOTHING to my vehicle until they called me for the authorization to go ahead with any work!!!
I warn everyone now...don't trust a repair facility!!!

Great as always..

These folks have been taking care of inspections, oil changes and tires for my car for about 12 years now.
They are very friendly, knowledgeable and absolutely great.

I walked in to the store without an appointment. Four people were behind the desk. Not one looked up and acknowledged me for a good 10 sec. I know 10 sec doesn't seem like much but I like to be greeted while entering a store to shell out a couple hundred dollars.
Finally a woman asked me what she could do for me. I said I would like four tires and if I could have some one help me pick them out and put them put on today that would be great. She said sure.
Well, no one needed to help me pick them out because they had one set of tires in my size. I asked about ordering since I saw that their website offered ordering for next day install. She said it would take 2-3 days and shipping would be 12 dollars per tire. I had a limited amount of time so I was stuck. Definitely should have called first, just assumed that a place named Tire Mart would sell all kinds of tires.
The process took about an hour and 20 minutes. While I waited they had WI-FI and tv. Was not offered the coffee or doughnuts advertised on the website. The people behind the desk were talking of hunting pictures and showing each other their photos.
I was called up to the desk to pay and was told that they recommended alignment. I asked why wasn't I asked about this when the car was on the rack. She said it is separate and the guy who does the alignment left for the day (3:30 p.m.). She smiled and said I could bring it in anytime next week. Again, a place named Tire Mart, should be able to align my tires on a new install if needed. Now I have to make a separate trip.
So it was fine. This was my second time here. The first wasn't anything to write about either. I won't be back. Many of the reviews seem to be about garage work and not specifically tires. Perhaps they should change the name.

They are a very friendly and family orientate business. They provide excellent customer service. We have used them for over 40 years.

I think they're very reasonable and very knowledgeable. They come out right away and look when you bring your car over. They give you a plan of whatever they think you would need and then take care of it for you. Two of the guys that I think own the place are brothers and they are extremely friendly. They are very proficient and professional.

We had a good experience with them. We like that they are very nice and very honest people. They do their best to make you feel good about the work you are getting done.

They do a little bit of everything including replacing engines, mufflers, and brakes. I definitely recommend them. I think they are fair priced and the staff is great.

In early February 2012, I took the car in because it had a slight wobble on the steering wheel at slow speeds. After the repair, the wobble returned. On April 13, 2012, I took it in again. They fixed the problem under their warranty and charged nothing.

When I called, they had the tires in stock and held them for me. The do not take appointments and it was a few weeks before I ever got over to the shop and the tires were still put aside for me. I did not want to wait and dropped off the vehicle. They called me when it was done. Four tires, balanced, and also an oil change. They were kind and courteous. I did not feel pressured at all for any extra's. They even replaced a wiper blade that had been noticed to be torn. I will definitely return when I need new treads.

I had a grinding noise coming from the front of my vehicle and the engine seemed to be shifting funny. I decided I should get it into the shop as soon as possible. So my wife and I dropped it off and asked them to take a look at it and let us know. We waited for about an hour while they did the test drive. They told us it was a wheel bearing and they could fix it that day. We decided to go into work and asked if they could also do the state inspection. They did both and we picked it up later that day! I have always had good service at a reasonable price from Tire Mart.

The Tire Mart has very reasonable prices and we have always been very pleased with their services. If they are unable to fix the problem they won't charge you for the service diagnosis. I feel comfortable going there because they are very friendly and recognize their customers when they come in.

I have dealt here for over 20 years. It has really gone downhill since Jack retired. On my previous visit I had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment for inspection then waited three hours for completion! This month I went for 2 tires and was told my other 2 tires were unevenly worn because of the alignment. I bought those 2 tires at Tire Mart 4 months ago, and what really upsets me is I had the car in for a slow leak last month and no one bothered to tell me about how the tires were wearing unevenly. Jack knew every customer by name - I lived in Maryland for a few years, and when I returned to Harrisburg Jack remembered me! The guys there now don't even remember me after an hour! I am looking for a new auto service.

It always goes well at Tire Mart. We have been relying on this company, and Jack in particular for years. They stand behind their service and sales. When you walk in there, you get a big hello from everyone behind the counter and a smile, too! We have stopped in at least twice in the last six months with minor problems, flat tires. They repaired my son's and my flat tires without charge and got each of us on our way. We are treated like family there. I have sent many people to them for the best service. When my daughter was just starting out on her own she took her car there for inspection. When she went to pick her car up, she had forgotten her checkbook. Jack told her, "don't worry, just drop a check off tomorrow", then gave her the keys and she was on her way. Unbelievable! They are great! And no, I don't work for them.

I was told one thing and got another. When I went back to them, I spoke to the owner and he said all the right things, made promises but then never delivered on them. You get what you pay for!

They never take advantage of a nice old lady. They are very friendly guys. I would highly recommend them. I will start going back to them after my car warranty is up.

I've used the Tire Mart since I started driving on recommendation of my father. They are primarily a tire/alignment shop, but they do all kinds of routine service and repairs. This shop has had loyal customers ever since I've been there, and it's because they are friendly, honest, fair, and do good work. They have the same mechanics and same counter staff, which says a lot too. My only complaint is that their schedule can be a bit busy, but if you're really in a pinch they'll find a way to help. It always pays to know a good honest mechanic, these are the guys.
