Before SERVICE FIRST RESTORATION would even come to the home they charged us $250.00 up front. I placed this amount on my credit card. When they completed the work for my mother, my brother gave them a check for the entire amount. They failed to deduct the down payment from the total amount due. I called the office and asked about the discrepancy. I was told they mailed a check to my mother's home in her name. My mother didn't pay that amount I did. I asked them to issue a credit to my credit card, the same card they charged. They said they couldn't issue a credit to my credit card. Janet in their office seemed to think the situation is funny. Janet said they will re-issue a check to me, I am waiting to see if that happens.
