Very responsive and quick to apply insecticide. Ants did not immediately disappear, I believe it changed their traffic pattern first, There were small sporadic appearances, then within two weeks they were completely gone!

Roger, one of the owners, came and explained the life cycle of wasps; based on what I told him was happening, he assured me that we had nothing to worry about, that they will, or have already, died a natural death and there was nothing for him to do at this time. He was also EXTREMELY thorough looking in all the places that they might have been coming in. Since I had him here, I also asked him about all the ants around the outside of our propery and what I have been doing to keep them out of the house... his advice to me was, since it was working, to keep doing what I've been doing and when/if it stops working THEN I should call him to take care of it (and trust me, I will call Penn Pest for any/all pest problems we may have in the future). He went one step further and recommended another "over the counter" product that could be helpful to keep the ants out. I think you get the picture here... I chose Penn Pest because every reviewer gave them an "A'" rating... if I were able to put plus's next to it, I'd give them a dozen. BTW, he did not charge use for the his time!

He came on time, did what he had to do in the house first so I could go back to work. Finished up outside after I left and I haven't had any issues since. This is the 2nd year I've had them out since I bought my house and will probably call them next year as well!

I had had a different pest company come, looked all around, said there were ants, there could be termites, better go for the complete treatment, nearly $1,000! Then I looked on Angie's List and discovered Penn Pest with EXCELLENT ratings by so many local people. It's a local family-run business (which I LOVE); they man who came is an owner, knew it was ants. When I inquired about termites, he said, "This is NOT termites; you don't have any termites here!" For $180, I was done. It's been several weeks since and not a sign of anything like I was seeing before. This company is THE BEST, I kid you not!!!!!

Mice problem appears to have been solved, and inspection by Roger for bedbugs gave us peace of mind.

Serviced twice so far. Quick appointment time, friendly, and professional! Price was reasonable as well. First time initial spray was ~$190 and the remaining yearly service calls are priced at ~$80 dollars. There is no contract signing and the customer can cancel at anytime. Service provider showed up on both occasions within 3 minutes of the time provided over the phone. Very thorough and they know their stuff.

Very professional and prompt.  Explained the process to be used which was a combination of dust and a liquid spray. Roger explained that it will take a couple days for all the yellow jackets to be gone since some were not in the nest during the day.  He also assured me that if I continue to see them after a couple weeks, to call back and he will return.  The cost was much lower than the prices of competitors I had gotten estimates from.  I am very happy with the service and Penn Pest will be the firm I will call for any insect problems.

Fortunately, they found no termite issue, just some past signs of harmless ants. No remedy was required. Rodger was very professional and thoroughly explained his findings. He also gave us good tips on preventing any type of potential pest infestations.

The service went really well. We had bees on the siding of our home and they came out and exterminated them and were very helpful with other things besides the extermination. They even followed up with us after the initial service because, as they informed us, the bees may come back so they wanted to make sure they were gone and everything was taken care of. I'd say they're very reliable.
