This was quite possibly the worst service experience that I have ever experienced in my life.  I paid in advance for what should have been 2 hours of labor from 2 workers.  This was part of a moving process that my family was in the middle of at the time.  I was contacted shortly after I made the online reservation with Last Minute Labor by an agent named David.  He assured me that everything would be handled without issue and that the workers would even contact me the day prior to the requested service date to confirm.  I was also advised that I would receive a call once they were an hour away the day of the move.  None of these promises were upheld.  I received no call the day before or the day of the move, and no one called or showed up.  When I tried to contact Last Minute Labor the day of many times over, I could not get anyone to answer my calls.  The day after what should have been the moving day, I contacted Last Minute Labor and finally reached someone.  It happened to be David again and he pretended to be in shock by what had occurred.  He apologized profusely and said that he would make some calls and find out what happened while also finding some labor for that day that could finally fulfill the service agreement.  Fortunately, we did have the whole weekend to move so this did not completely sabotage our plans, and instead just made things much more stressful.  Unbelievably, I did not get the call back from David as he promised and had to instead contact him after about 2 hours.  He again apologized but claimed that he had set up one person to come out to perform the service and that he was having trouble finding the second person needed.  I explained that one person would really be useless because most of the items would require 2 people to lift.  He said that he would find the promised second person or come out himself if he had to.  He gave me a time that I could expect the labor to arrive and it was left at that.  That time came and went.  After the time elapsed, I attempted to contact the company yet again.  However, I got no answer every time that I called.  It certainly gave me the impression that my calls were now being dodged.  Magically, when I switched to my wife's phone to test my theory that I was being ignored, David answered the phone.  Once again I got the same fake apologies from him and a line about someone being on their way.  He also said that the worker would call soon to advise me of this.  I exclaimed that if I did not receive a call from this person within 15 min, I would consider the service a complete failure and would be sure to describe this complete failure to Angie's List as well as any other review site that I could find.  Miraculously, I did get a call back within about 5 min from the worker and he was in fact on his way.  However, he could give no information on the second person that was supposed to be assisting in the process.  The gentleman that did finally show up was a great help and definitely worked hard.  Unfortunately, he could only do so much himself and this forced me to assist in moving all of the larger items.  During this process, a baseball-sized hole was put in one of the stairwell walls by a couch that myself and him were moving.  He offered to get someone to fix it, but at this point I was so discusted that I just declined his offer knowing that I was plenty capable of repairing the hole myself.   When all was said and done and was presented with the invoice, I did sign it.  Thinking back, I never should have signed that invoice because even though some services were rendered, they certainly were not as originally described.  In closing, it should be noted that during one of the times that I was unable to contact Last Minute Labor I contacted Angie's List for assistance.  The woman that I spoke with at Angie's List stated that she would send my complaint to some sort of resolution team for further action and that I should hear back in a few business days.  I never got a single followup call or email from anyone at Angie's List though which very much disappoints me.  It really makes me question the legitimacy of Angie's List itself.  In this case, I received the worst service I've ever experienced and Angie's List was of no help in resolving my contractor issues.

As previously stated they moved everything out of my office...including a sound system that had to be dismantled and a large three section desk, two person recliner recliner, and a large book case.  They arrived on time..worked efficiently and were very careful not to bang my walls or wooldwork.  When the flooring was installed they returned and put it all back together.  Again, they arrived on time and did an excellent job.  They are by far the best team I have ever hired to do these types of jobs.  I will call them again!

We used them to move to our current location. They could have been more careful because some of the furniture they moved was damaged, but the crew that came worked very hard.
