The installation of the solar panels, inverters and the battery went well. I signed the contract in July of 2022, install was in December of 2022, and went online in early 2023. The system has functioned properly. The bad side is the customer service. When I signed the contract, I paid extra to have them trim a tree that was shading part of the panel setup. That was July of 2022, it's not October of 2023 and they still have not done it. Despite several follow ups, I have gotten nowhere. I would not recommend.

They did an excellent job and they rewired the generator so it would work. They did the job in one day and I would highly recommend them.

I thought solar seemed like a good idea. There was a home show nearby and I decided to check it out. The salesman came over to look over my bills and my house to determine how many panels I would need and where they should go. A engineer stopped by later to validate. All in all, my costs were supposed to go down from near or over 100 dollars a month to about 80 dollars a month, stable (because I was going to be paying a loan on the panels instead of an electric bill) It took some time for the install, but that was to be expected because the permits take time to generate through the borough where I live. However, when the install was complete, they didn’t put the panels where I was told they were going to go for the best output. That’s the first time I had to call and complain. So they came out and installed extra panels, but they still didn’t put them were they said they were going to put them, but that it would be enough to cover my needs based on my usage. I’m guessing that they didn’t consider increases in usage based on the weather when the factored my needs because I end up still paying over 30 dollars a month in electric bills on top of the loan I now have for expensive solar panels. When I called them about it multiple times, they tried to put the blame on me even though my only real current draw is air conditioning. Even if my usage was over, why wasn’t that factored in? Oh wait, I asked the salesman about that and he said the amount of panels I would be getting would cover that. Well, it wasn’t. On top of all that, my neighbor came to me shortly after the install to say that one of the installers borrowed a ladder and took off with it. I thought it sounded kind of strange. Why would a company that does roofing and solar installs need to borrow something as essential as a ladder? After the run around and excuses I got from Matt and his team. I’m not so sure now. My point is this, maybe there were people who trusted this business. After my experience, I sure do not. The panels were a mistake and now I’m stuck. If I had it to do all over again, I would not use renu.

I thought it went awesome. 5 guys and one day to take off the old roof and put on the new. Looked good. Here is the issue. Right before they did my home, they did my daughters home. Her roof is leaking and they are trying to find all kinds of excuses as to why it is not their fault. Now I was having some work done on my guttering and the young man that was doing it found that there was also a leak in my roof. The porch roof that they replaced had water damage so bad that the underneath plywood was saturated and flaking apart. I had this roof put on in Oct 2017 and here it is May 2018 (not quite 6 months). A guy (Travis) came out to inspect and stated that the wood would dry out (WHAT?) Absolutely not...they are gonna have to replace it as mold can grow. He got up and calked where he thought it was leaking from. Well come to find they also never replaced the flashing around the chimney but used the old flashing. It seems that they really cut corners to make money and leave the consumers with inferior work and not what the consumer paid for. I spent slightly over 8 grand on a roof that leaked with in 6 months. My daughter spent over 7 grand for a roof that started leaking within weeks. She is in the process of getting two licensed contractors to come out and shoot down their excuses as to why it isn't their fault that the roof is leaking. My advice...run as far away from this company as possible.

After several email exchanges and two phone calls, they did not show up, nor contacted me.

I had multiple companies provide estimates for my new roof as my current one was barely hanging on.  HomeRenu was quick to come out, provide a free estimate with physical samples of shingles and colors on hand!  They answered all of the questions I had and were very friendly and professional!  In addition to their customer service, quality, standards, warranties, etc . . . They offered the best deal!!!  They were at my home and replaced my roof within 3 weeks of signing the contract!  They cleaned up everything and I had no shingles or nails left anywhere on my property!  They were punctual and friendly and offered updates as they worked!  I would use them again and again and recommend them to EVERYONE!

I really liked how our concerns were met, the weather conditions during installation of our roof, for example. The installers were professional and problem solvers. The project manager kept in close contact and was available, very good communication skills which made the project a success.

From the start to the end, the company was professional, honest and friendly.  They did a great job explaining siding options and their prices were very fair without comprising quality.  The installation process was flawless, the crew cleaned up the sight and they were always very polite (not always my experience working with other companies). I am extremely satisfied with the end result.  The siding looks great and I have had no issues.  I will definitely work with HomeRenu for future projects.

I needed an update on my front door. I had an appointment with home renu they showed me many options. I was surprised with their selection. I purchase a fiberglass door with a wood finish with 2 sidelights. They explain to me the door would be in within 2 to 3 weeks. At the beginning of the second week I got a call to let me know the door was in so we could schedule a time when they could install it. The workers were friendly and courteous they got it done in one day. It looks amazing. I get many compliments on it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Home Renu staff was professional and I am thoroughly impressed with everything! I've referred them to my parents who are in need of a new kitchen. They got the job done. Although it was an investment, it was worth it! If you are looking for quality, I highly recommend this company. I worked with someone named Faisto (spelling?). He was fantastic. He runs a tight ship with his installers. Way to go Home Renu!

Home ReNu gave us the date of work 2 weeks in advance.  They told us it will take two days and the crew will come at 8 am.  They were there on time and covered our landscape before starting the roofing work. The crew was 6 to 7 roofers. They were methodical in tearing down our old roof.  At 11 am, they did the ice and water barrier, synthetic under layment strictly following GAF guidelines.  They put the new shingles and completed the job by 3 pm. They did a thorough cleaning of the landscape and yard, and were done by 4 pm.  The project supervisor did a walk-through and inspection.  It was a one day job and  we have a brand new roof.  We got the GAF lifetime system plus protection warranty and Home ReNu's lifetime workmanship warranty which are transferable.  So, we have peace of mind that we are covered by warranty on the roof. We are happy and we now have them do our deck and porch.

We have a Mansard flat rubber roof that needed replaced, and due to the weather, we were unable to have a new roof installed until the temperature was near 50 degrees. We contacted NU-Roof   in November and they gave us an estimate for the cost of a new roof. It was a reasonable estimate. We were informed that if there was any wood damage, there would be an additional fee for removing and installing new wood. We were unable to have the new roof installed at the time due to the cold weather. They temporarily repaired the area where the roof was leaking at no  cost to us. The new roof was installed the 1st week of March. It included removing and replacing damaged and rotted wood: inspection for mold: building  a new pitched roof to ensure water drainage is correct: installing new plywood and rafters, and installing new rubber roofing over pitched roof . They were very professional, punctual, pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend using them, and will be using them in the future for installing new shingles.

It was a fantastic experience. They were prompt, courteous, on time and clean. They took every precaution as far as the weather was concerned. We even hardly noticed that they were there except when the dogs were out. The service was also covered under my insurance.

I was very pleased with the service NuRoof provided. Fausto came out to give us an estimate and left us all the materials about the roofing products they offer so we could look them over and make the best decision for us. He did follow up with us later but I never felt pressured. We felt the price was very fair for the quality of the materials used (we went with 50 years shingles). They were able to do the work a bit earlier than originally scheduled so that was a nice bonus to me. The team showed up when scheduled, got right to work and tackled the job in a few hours. We have a very basic, rather small roof but they finished when expected. They did a very nice job of cleaning up our yard. I could not tell anyone had been working there when I came home other than we had a new roof. I was pleased they left us the extra shingles in case something should need repaired later. (No worries about matching the color). Our experience with the company was very good ~ happy with the price, materials, workmanship and service.

The quotes were all about the same but NuRoof wanted 2/3 up front. The other people also had more experience. The guy was very nice.

Excellent sales staff (Falsto), quality work done and followed up on all concerns. Especially during the job, everything was discussed and dealt with in a timely manner. Even after the fact, took a little longer but found out there was a reason for that. Need a backup in case Falsto gets hurt again. Excellent job overall, will definitely consider using again for other services.

It was an excellent experience from beginning to end.  Their price was very reasonable.  They were very efficient from the day that the salesman came out here.  They gave us the quotation and did the job.  They worked long and hard to get it done all on one day.  I was very pleased with them.

They went out of their way to make everything right. Work was done with care for the property, workmanship was excellent, very respectful of owners and property.

My experience with NuRoof overall was excellent. They were very helpful and informative through every step of the roof replacement. When I began looking for a contractor to replace my roof, they were the first company that came to my mind. They replaced the roof on a house a few blocks from me, so I saw that their work looked good, and their information was readily available on the sign they had left. I contacted them for an estimate late in the evening, received a call back first thing in the morning, and had someone measuring my roof by the afternoon, very prompt service! Their price came back in the lower to middle range compared to the four other estimates I got. Before making my final decision, I wanted to see a copy of Nu Roof's insurance, state registration, and certifications. They provided all the info I requested as well as ten or so references. After careful consideration, I decided to go with them. They scheduled me the very next week and had everything cleaned up and wrapped up by the middle of the week. The owner even left me his personal cell phone number for if I had any questions or concerns. I would HIGHLY recommend working with NuRoof if your thinking about replacing your roof or having any exterior work done.
