The service went very well. One technician came out and completed the job in 1 week. He did a great job and I really liked him. My only concern is that Home Depot did not give me all of my options for the project. I ended up hiring someone else back to change out the hardware for me. He was very professional and good with the cleanup afterwards. The outcome is quite striking. I had no problem scheduling the project.

I love the refrigerator. They were supposed to install the refrigerator for me and take away the old refrigerator. They would not take the old refrigerator and would not install the new refrigerator. They just left the refrigerator on the deck. The technician said they were running late and said they were there to just drop off the refrigerator. Luckily, my contractor was able to install it for me. I did go to Home Deport about the issue and they ended up reimbursing me the $150 for the installation.

We love the storm door. Very good quality. We decided not to go with new windows for right now but if we do get them, we would use Home Depot.

The salesman was very good at helping us learn how to do the installation as well as choosing the tile and products needed.

UPDATE: Tyson Fence, a/k/a TF Installations, contracting with Home Depot. As of 4/16, no returned phone calls, no refund check of $1,094. Have also found a few other poor reviews of Tyson Fence online. Wish I'd known it was Tyson prior to contracting with Home Depot. UPDATE: 4/12/12 - I have telephoned both Jeff Millay, (District Manager) and emailed Colin Koser (Tyson Fence salesman) every day with zero response to my voice mails and my emails. Tyson/Home Depot has $1,094 of my money and has not contacted me in any way about returning my money. Report filed with BBB - not suprisingly, Tyson Fence is not a Better Business Bureau certified company. # 1) I chose Home Depot because they gave me the best estimate; however, within one day they called back to say they'd made a mistake and my job would actually cost several hundred dollars more. That bait-and-switch should have warned me off them. # 2) Less than 48 hrs. before installation the subcontractor - TF Installation, or Tyson Fence) called and said they couldn't do it that day - I'd been specific to them about scheduling as I needed to request a vacation day. They wanted to come a day early but I couldn't get that day off work. So we rescheduled for 2 weeks. This was a huge disappointment as I now had a wide open yard where I'd removed a privacy hedge. # 3) They never showed up on the installation day. No message, no phone call. Nothing. Just never came. They were supposed to come at 7am. So I lost a 2nd Vacation day. # 4) I called Home Depot at 9am to ask where was the crew. Was told they'd find out and and quot;call back in a couple minutes.and quot; Never called me. # 5) I called Home Depot at 10am and was told the same as in # 4. # 6) Was told they can't reach the contractor - no answer - but I could try and they gave me his number. I called and left a vm. # 7) Had to call twice to get a response. Was told and quot;it's out of my control you have to call the installer.and quot; Asked me to reschedule a THIRD time. I refused. Called the installer. Twice. #8) Finally reached the installer (TF Installation) who said it wasn't him, but was and quot;Ryan,and quot; and as of the night before and quot;Ryanand quot; was all set to come out. No reason as to why Ryan never came and why I was never called when Ryan didn't show up to work. #9) All this took 3.5 hours. So it's 12:30 now. Ryan shows up - no fence, no crew. Nothing. Agreed to come and quot;tomorrow.and quot; Why can't you come today? He said he had to drive and quot;all the way to Lancaster and backand quot; - it was 12:30 pm and Lancaster is 30 minutes away. What a poor excuse. #10) Promised to go get the fence and equipment and come back and leave everything at my house for an early start tomorrow. Came back 6 hours later. # 11) Came at 10:30am on Saturday. One man, not a and quot;crew.and quot; Ryan, the installer, complained to me that his 10yo son was crying at home because Ryan had promised to take him to Hersheypark that day and couldn't because he had to install my fence. I told him if he'd shown up the day before like he promised he could be at the park. Otherwise it wasn't my problem. Ryan installed 2 panels. Informed me some of the pieces were marked with black wear marks that wouldn't come off, so it looked shoddy for brand-new vinyl fence. He told me that 7 of the 13 posts and 8 of the 12 panels were marked up. I told him to go and get new panels but of course he couldn't that day as no was was at the warehouse. I told him to call someone and get someone to the warehouse but he refused, saying it wasn't possible. I told him to put in whatever was good, but he refused. By this time I was FURIOUS and let him know it. I was extremely angry at this 3rd delay and non-cooperativeness of Tyson Fencing. I've scheduled a 3rd Vacation day for 4/9 (Monday) - I have no trust that he'll show up. Today I took a sponge to the and quot;black marksand quot; - they cleaned off. I believe the man didn't want to work on Saturday and lied to me. He'd complained to me that his child was crying at home because he'd promised to take him to Hersheypark that day but couldn't because he had to install my fence. I told him if he'd come on Friday as he'd promised he could've gone to the park. Home Depot and TF Installation were terrible and unreliable from the beginning. I told them tomorrow is their last chance. If the fence is not properly installed my next phone call is to an attorney. UPDATE: On Monday Ryan came back and ripped out what he'd already installed. I came home to find him loading up the fencing I'd deposited $1,094 and trying to take it away. I called the cops. Good thing I did. Ryan told me and quot;I thought about it over the weekendand quot; and they decided because I got angry with them they didn't want to do the job. Definite breach of contract. I refused to let Ryan leave until the police came. Tyson Fence sent 3 big trucks and 4 men to my house in an effort to intimidate an almost 60yo woman. Ryan told me his boss was coming with my deposit money. Boss came. I asked for my money. Jim Tyson said he didn't have it. I have no fence, no money, and no returned phone calls from Home Depot.

I had somebody else put the door in for me. It cost me $450 that included the installation charges. My experience with them was excellent. They were very customer oriented. If they don't have what you want, they will do everything that they can to try to direct you in the right direction as to where to get it. They definitely tell me as to what is best for me when I go in there and take the extra step. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

I was very pleased with the service and installation. The installation crew were true professionals, courteous, and on time. The work they did was excellent and we love the doors.

They had a great selection of carpet. The sales reps were knowledgeable and helpful. We shopped 2 other places and we liked the carpet from Home Depot the best. They let us take a sample board home to help make our final color choice. We also bought padding. It wasn't quite as nice as padding we had seen elsewhere, but it was the best they had and we felt it would be okay. The price was very good for the quality of the carpet. We had to put down a deposit to schedule a measurement. The measurement was completed within a few days from when we scheduled it. We got a call the day after the measure with our quote. I could have paid for it over the phone, but I wanted to go over everything at the store before I paid for it. I went over the order with a salesman and I opened a Home Depot credit account (got an extra $200 off the price) to pay for it. I ordered the carpet and got a call from the installer in about one week to schedule installation. I could have had it installed within days, but I put it off for about 10 days since I had some painting to do. I was to receive a call the morning of the installation to let me know about what time the installers would be there. I did not get a call, so I called them and was told they would be there in about half an hour. The installation went well. They went over everything with me and asked me to verify they had the right carpet and padding. They left only a few minor marks on the walls and trim. No big deal for me. When they were finished, they cleaned up, and left the extra carpet pieces for me to use elsewhere. They called their supervisor who asked to speak with me to make sure I was happy with everything. Since the install, I have found a few staples on the steps. They looked a little short to me. If the carpet on the steps comes loose, I will call them to fix it.

We got a great sale price on the carpet and instilation. There was a large selection of carpet and the sales person was very helpful with the whole process. The installers were polite and professional. The only complaint is they did not replace the carpet strips between the carpeted areas and non-carpeted areas.
