We were initially disappointed in the spaying of our puppy.  The incision was not closed well and started separating.  This facility does not offer emergency availability so we had to take her to another facility.  This was a very stressful and painful experience for our little puppy. 

The above mentioned visit ended in a negative diagnosis of fleas, which we saw on her.  So, we took her to our previous veterinary hospital where she was diagnosed and we received directions for treatment.  The people at HAAH were nice enough but we feel they lacked the professional expertise we wanted for out dog.  That was our last visit.

Dana Walck is the veterinarian and she really cares about my cat Ohpeasea. She's very professional and did a great job with the spay. The morning after I picked Ohpeasea up she was already feeling good enough to jump up on the bed which is pretty high off of the floor. There were no complications what so ever. She healed very fast and was back to normal in a very short period.
I've had Ohpeasea there several times and I am always very satisfied with the service and the price. I highly recommend Dana Walck for anyone looking for an affordable and highly skilled veterinarian who really cares about your pet. She is the only veterinarian at Harrisburg Area Animal Hospital so you know your pet will be well cared for each and every visit.

Very professional and on schedule. No problems with the dogs, but the vet and staff were very courteuos and friendly.

It's new. We like the veterinarian there and we like her staff. She rents from a chiropractor; it used to be his offices. It's just so user-friendly. They have office cats, a bird, and a guinea pig. It's a small office. She has several technicians and office people; they are all just made for pet parents. They really care about me and my pet. We had never gone there, but it's so close. We had a cat that got sick all of a sudden and I had been unhappy with my previous vet that we were using, so we decided to give her a shot and we were just so pleased.

We took the dog for booster shot at Harrisburg Area Animal Hospital. The dog had some eye drainage which had just started a day or two previously. He also had GI upset. Visit went well, eye drops and antibiotic and Lyme booster. Also dental chews and Science Diet dental formula. All under $90.00. Very reasonable prices. Again the staff was terrific and took their time. We did not feel rushed at all. Any and all questions were answered to our satisfaction. Will definitely return and recommend others to Dr,. Dana!

Our older dogs started exhibiting some health problems and we had heard great things about the office so we contacted them. They were very caring and explained what tests needed to be run and what the possible problems could be. They helped us to understand what was going on with our dogs and were very kind when they told us the one was not going to make it.

Overall the visit went well. I absolutely love them. I would use their services again in the future.
