It was a mixed bag. Everyone has always been responsive, polite and helpful. However, as frequently was the case, they recommended additional service. I've been okay with that as preventative advice and have made careful decisions about what to accept and decline. This time I was told my right front strut was beginning to leak. I was told it was minor but we should keep an eye on it. They offered an estimate to replace both struts because they said they should be replaced evenly - and that an alignment would also be needed as well. The quote was $724 plus (approximately another $100) for the cost of an alignment, and since it didn't seem an emergency I decided not to have the work done at that time - and to get a second opinion because it was going to be so expensive. I followed up with a local garage I had also been doing business with for many years and with whom I have a trusted relationship. They examined the struts thoroughly and took pictures - and found no evidence whatsoever of a leaking strut. That was in fact almost one year ago and they have checked it out for me every 5000 miles when I bring it in for routine maintenance. Still has no leak been found. All I can think of are the poor victims who place their trust in these advisors and then needlessly spend a lot of their hard-earned money on repairs that were not necessary. Personally I felt so betrayed by the staff at Freedom. They had always been so kind and helpful. I trusted them. My husband called and tried to reach the service manager to let them know of our experience. That person was not available at the time, but later returned my husband's call and left a message. My husband and I were both so disgusted at the overall experience that we did not follow up after that.

They're good people to work with. They take care of my Dodge pick up that I use for work. We bought a Toyota from them this year, a new Toyota. I would definitely refer friends and family members to them. They were really good because I checked around with different places before I went there, a couple of months, looking here and looking there. They're good, they've got good fair price. Their prices are good, really. They're a big dealer, but they're really family friendly. They actually come, pick up our new car and take it in when it's time for an oil change and bring it back. They even wash it up before they bring it back. They take good care of their customers.

They do a good job of calling you back, but it is a long time between when you want to get it done and when they can actually bring you in. Other than that, they're pretty good.

The sales associate was Sidney Ruth at Freedom Toyota/Jeep and he did an excellent job of helping me with my car buying decision and associated trade in.  The trade in price was higher than offered by other dealerships.  The purchase price of the new car was fair.  The process was smooth and low pressure.  Very good experience.

I had purchased the car and the extended warranty from this place. I later found out that the warranty was for the wrong VIN # which was canceled 2 days after I purchased this. There is no response when I try to contact them about this problem. I have called them 19 times and have not been able to talk to the general manager, finance manager or sales rep. I have also faxed them 4 different times with the information included.

Had several horrible service experiences. Only went back because we had coupons for free oil/filter changes as part of our new car purchase. They pulled an emissions hose off during one oil change and we had to return the car to find out why it was running so poorly. Another time they didn't tighten the oil drain plug and I noticed the oil dripping on the floor of our garage and tightened myself. The car was rarely done at the time promised. This all happened in 2009-2010, but I wouldn't go back based on their lack of professionalism.

Scheduled appointment online and did schedule wait until service is complete since house is 20 minutes await. Work performed at cost expected. They do offer taxi service to shop or loan car (based upon reservation and availability.
They did see a few other items needing fixes but were not pressing to do at that time and could wait until furture visit. They have always been good at alerting of items that in the future will need to be addressed without selling you into during it now unless they feel it is a safety issue.
We did purchase our vehicle through their dealership and they do have a better reputation than the other Toyota Dealership in Harrisburg.

They were very courteous and professional and prompt, and with good scheduling flexibility as her schedule was difficult to find the time , and performed the work in a timely manner and even washed her car afterwords free of charge.
