Everything went well until the meeting with the Financial Officer to discuss add-ons. Although he was cordial, the presentation was very confusing. A computer presentation with the key features of each add-on would have been very helpful.

My wife wants to purchase her first new car. She's done all her homework -- looked at reviews, learned all there is about vehicles she's interested in and has cash in hand to make the purchase. She contacted Faulkner Subaru and negotiated a price on the vehicle she wanted. We went there today to get the car. Things didn't go well: we couldn't even get onto their tiny lot because it's so parked up with cars. A truck was backing up the driveway and we had to wait at the very end of the driveway to pull in. Once we finally got in, it was a challenge to find a parking space -- there were three left amongst all the double parked customer vehicles and used cars.

Anyway, we arrived, went into the showroom and asked for Kim Werner, the internet sales contact with whom my wife worked out the deal. She immediately handed us off to Frank Gambino who went through the usual sales inquiries and tried to learn what kind of vehicle my wife was driving. Then he wanted to know what kind of vehicle she was interested in. We tried explaining we knew what we wanted and even had a stock number for the car. Turns out, the vehicle wasn't even at the dealership.

My wife was ticked off because we went to get the car ... not browse around. And she didn't appreciate the slippery sales tactics of Mr. Gambino trying to feel out her potential trade-in (there wasn't one) or the sales pitch about Subaru's all-wheel drive system (she already did her own research). In short, my wife doesn't want to be and quot;soldand quot; a car -- she just wants to buy one from a reputable, honest dealer.

Faulkner wasted our time and we didn't enjoy the experience one bit -- from the underhanded sales approach (getting us to visit when an advertised car isn't even available) to the tiny parking lot to the weasely salesperson.

The staff was very responsive and helpful and made the experience pleasant. The salesman I dealt with made note of what I was interested in and what concerns I had about the new model. He arranged demonstrations and test drives to specifically address those concerns. What most impressed me was one evening when I stopped at the dealer with questions and and quot;myand quot; salesman was not in, the ones who were there went out their way to research my questions and assist me, then informed and quot;myand quot; salesman that I had been there and what we talked about.
The lower score for Quality is only because the physical facility is cramped for space. The amount of room on the properly seems inadequate for displaying new and used cars and also allowing parking for service and showroom customers. They are presently making renovations that will help with service drop-offs, but I think that space will still be a problem because of the limited size of the property.
Note that this location is now a Subaru dealer only. The Mazda dealership has been moved to a different location.

I usually take my Subaru here because I prepaid for maintenance when I bought the car. Services have always been done right and service staff are very professional. Only complaint is it takes a long time to get an oil change even when it is scheduled in advance. Also, they seem to be understaffed in service. When I leave my car with them, I have to call for an update on the car.

I went to Faulkner Mazda after viewing the vehicles available on their Web site. The salesperson I dealt with was Jesse McKnight. The sales process was un-pressured and Mr. McKnight was polite and very willing to get me whatever information I needed to make a decision on the vehicle. I would recommend this dealer to others.

I think you really still have to do your homework. It is not a slam dunk at this point. They have a top rated vehicle at Subaru but you really have to take a good look at the vehicle to decide if it is right for me. The salesmen at both the Subaru and Mazda were very knowledgeable and there was no pressure. It was the other vehicle that sold itself. I didn't get a price on either. I visited 25 to 30 dealerships because I decided. I would definitely use them again.

I think they really deserve a lot of credit for their professionalism and their service. It's the overall company but I know the salesperson, Mike Ramsey was outstanding. He is really dynamic and goes out of his way to help people.
I highly recommend them. They are really good people to deal with.
They are straight shooters. They are a very reputable company they treat anyone who goes there will be treated very fairly.
Their prices are very competitive and they will match or best what you could get elsewhere. They really go the distance to make their vehicles affordable.
