Anyway, we arrived, went into the showroom and asked for Kim Werner, the internet sales contact with whom my wife worked out the deal. She immediately handed us off to Frank Gambino who went through the usual sales inquiries and tried to learn what kind of vehicle my wife was driving. Then he wanted to know what kind of vehicle she was interested in. We tried explaining we knew what we wanted and even had a stock number for the car. Turns out, the vehicle wasn't even at the dealership.
My wife was ticked off because we went to get the car ... not browse around. And she didn't appreciate the slippery sales tactics of Mr. Gambino trying to feel out her potential trade-in (there wasn't one) or the sales pitch about Subaru's all-wheel drive system (she already did her own research). In short, my wife doesn't want to be and quot;soldand quot; a car -- she just wants to buy one from a reputable, honest dealer.
Faulkner wasted our time and we didn't enjoy the experience one bit -- from the underhanded sales approach (getting us to visit when an advertised car isn't even available) to the tiny parking lot to the weasely salesperson.
The lower score for Quality is only because the physical facility is cramped for space. The amount of room on the properly seems inadequate for displaying new and used cars and also allowing parking for service and showroom customers. They are presently making renovations that will help with service drop-offs, but I think that space will still be a problem because of the limited size of the property.
Note that this location is now a Subaru dealer only. The Mazda dealership has been moved to a different location.
I highly recommend them. They are really good people to deal with.
They are straight shooters. They are a very reputable company they treat anyone who goes there will be treated very fairly.
Their prices are very competitive and they will match or best what you could get elsewhere. They really go the distance to make their vehicles affordable.
