Ehrlich Pest Control

Mice are gone, and I followed the recommendations of the representative to keep the mice (and other critters) out of the house.

Billing problems for a year now. Long time customer that pays his bills on time, but keep getting late notices even though my account is always paid up.

Every step of this very stressful process was handled professionally and with obvious skill. I would highly recommend this service.

The service technician visited the next morning as promised.  He also did a thorough inspection of the property and felt I did not have a hive directly on my home, but one near.  He treated not only for the yellow jackets on my porch but also for spiders that he felt may be attracting them.  He was professional and took his time treating the area.  I have confidence this issue, and any future ones, will be addressed promptly.  While they are not the cheapest provider, their level of service is worth it to me.

Three factors really impressed me about Ehrlich.
1.  PRICE:  I called on a Saturday morning [Aug 2] and was able to speak to a live person who quoted me a price. Their price was almost half of what I was quoted at Paramount Pest Control in Mechanicsburg.
2.  PROMPT SERVICE:  They scheduled us for Monday, Aug 4, but to our pleasant surprise, a very nice gentleman called an hour? later on Saturday. He was treating a home in our neighborhood and asked if he could come right over. We were thrilled because we were going on vacation the following Wednesday, and really wanted to get this problem resolved before we left. He came over, put on protective gear and went to work. He checked all around the foundation of the house, not just the problem area. He took the time to explain the procedure, and what we should expect. We don't have pets or small children, but he asked if we did, and warned us to stay away from the treated area for 2-3 hours. It was sunny and the yellow jackets were not happy.
3.  GREAT RESULTS!  He said because the nest was under the siding, it might take two treatments, but one treatment did the job! The treatment had a 30 day guarantee, and Ehrlich called about 2-3 weeks later to make sure everything was still OK. We had tried to treat this problem ourselves, but the dust Ehrlich used was far superior to the spray my husband tried to use. In fact, the gentleman said spraying might have forced the insects farther into the house. Ouch!
Finally, I wish I could remember the gentleman's name who stopped by. He was awesome!  Would definitely recommend Ehrlich. Great experience!  Very professional.

So far the fleas have died down - this is 6 days after treatment and we really need to wait two weeks.

Ehrlich responded quickly to my first phone call. Everyone we came in contact with, the service representative and technicians, were professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The technicians explained everything they were going to do. They were very friendly, clean and efficient. We needed several treatments to take care of our pest issue. They charged exactly what the original estimate was quoted and will return again if needed for an additional treatment. I would highly recommend this company and would call them in the future for any pest problems.

They are prompt and courteous. They do their job well. If I have a problem that does not include my 6-month service or 3-month service, they'll come and they don't charge me.

In early Spring 2012, we started noticing a few carpenter ants (we had never had them before in the 17 years that we owned our home).  We had already had our quarterly visit from Ehrlich, therefore, they came back out and did another inspection/treatment.  A few weeks later, we still saw the carpenter ants, so we called them again.  Once again, they came out and did another inspection/treatment.  A month or so later, we saw a lot more carpenter ants.  At this time, we noticed bulging under some of our siding.  Upon removal of the siding, hundreds of carpenter ants came running out from under the siding.  We immediately contacted Ehrlich.  This was on a Saturday.  The receptionist said that they only come out for emergencies and she could schedule time the following week for someone to come out.  Unsatisfied with her response, we insisted that someone from Ehrlich come out.  Within several hours we did have a rep from Ehrlich show up.  It was at this time that the rep took the time to find out exactly where the ants were located and sprayed the entire area.  Up until this point, Ehrlich NEVER took the time to find out where the ants were located.  We ended up having to replace one entire side of our home - siding/etc. at a cost of several thousand dollars.  Ehrlich has claimed that there was water damage and they are not responsible for any of the charges.  Keep in mind that if you call Ehrlich and ask them what they service covers, they will say "we GUARANTEE that you will not have carpenter ants, etc.  Also keep in mind that we had them as our pest control providers for over 10 years.  if there was water damage, don't you think during their "inspections" that would have been noted.  Several years ago they did note that we had an area around our mailbox that was wet and could have the potential to draw carpenter ants.  So they noted this on a mailbox, but didn't see it on our home?  Also, we know that if they had done their job and researched to see where the ants were going, instead of letting the situation get to the point where we had to replace one entire side of our home.

Discovered yellow jackets entering enclosed porch roof.  I sprayed with wasp spray but it was apparant this was a fairly large nest hidden inside the enclosed roof.   I consulted Angie's list for pest removal and saw Ehrlich's was very highly rated and recommended.  They scheduled appt for 2 days after I called, a very pleasant,  experienced, competent,  intelligent employee showed up on time, explained what he was going to do and answered all my questions.  He applied a powdery substance at the area where the yellow jackets were entering and leaving the porch roof as well as completely around the entire porch ceiling (where roof and sides met.  He washed away all powder that landed on the porch floor surface and steps without my asking him to do so --- part of their procedure.  Bees completely gone within two days.    Company called several days later as a follow up.    Great service!  Highly recommend Ehrlich's!!
