Our commissions are competitive and all of our auctions include professional staffing as well as computerized registration, clerking, checkout and itemized consignor reports. f you need to liquidate a collection, personal property or estate, Cordier Auctions & Appraisals offers a full range of services coupled with knowledge and experience. We do not subscribe to one approach to the liquidation of property. We recommend a consultation at our offices or at your location to assess the property, evaluate your goals, and only then will we develop a comprehensive proposal that may include one or several methods to achieve optimal results. Our certified appraisers can assist you with an appraisal of a single item, collection or estate. We have conducted hundreds of appraisals of antiques, fine art and personal property. Our Appraisal Services can be broken down into three major categories depending on your needs. CERTIFIED APPRAISALS Written personal property appraisals are often required for insurance coverage and loss, charitable donations, equitable distributions, sale or liquidation, financial and estate planning, wills and estate taxes, and divorce settlements. We have full time certified appraisers on staff and consultants who have expert knowledge in specialty areas. Cordier Auctions & Appraisals is a member in good standing of the Certified Appraisers Guild of America and our appraisals adhere to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.
