Description of Work: Whatever you do, don't use this auction company. Sell your things on eBay instead. They sell your items for pennies on the dollar, and never give you an accurate inventory of all your items. It's been 30 days since my first auction and I still haven't been paid $16,000. They still have 85% of my items, unsold, in their warehouse. They are very disorganized and treat you like you're some kind of nut when you get worried about what's going on with your items. They really create the overwhelming impression of just not being on the up and up. They sell your best items first and then the rest just sits around. They keep making promises about what is going to happen with the remaining items, but so far I have not received anything tangible from them after they promised that it would be forthcoming in 2 weeks. The question becomes: at what point does this become a police matter? Not the kind of hassle I expected to get into to sell my things.

+ -1 moreThe Auctioneer undersold the items that were appraised at higher prices. He made lots instead of selling the items individually without my permissions. He sold thousands of dollars of jewelry for $10.00. He lied to me and refuses to return the rest of my property to me.
Description of Work: The provider was supposed to hold an auction to sell items I owned so I could move to another country.

They thoroughly explained all aspects of auction to us and they were in constant communication every step of the way. They charged a very fair rate and disclosed everything to provide that extra peace of mind. They even worked with us to get back a few "personal" items that were accidentally auctioned. The outcome of our auction was optimal...and we could not be happier with how things were handled. Thank you Cordier Auctions for making a difficult task a little more bearable.

Their appraisal service was excellent. They actually came to our house selling and told us what they could sell and what what they couldn't.

+ -1 moreHe has an auction house and he does free appraisals on up to 5 items. It was a great experience. He is very cordell, he's polite and he's honest. He gives you and honest opinion. If it's not worth anything, he'll tell you.
Description of Work: Cordier Antiques & Fine Art does free appraisals on Wednesdays. He appraised an old document.
