On initial visit, the technician (Pete) didn't have the equipment required to remove the buildup of creosote in our chimney. He had to reschedule another visit and the weather caused several day's delay for his return. When he did return, he had the tools required to remove the creosote and got our chimney in excellent condition. He was very prompt on his arrival, did an excellent job cleaning up and offered important information on operating our wood stove to eliminate creosote buildup. Very pleased with the service and would gladly recommend them to anyone.

I was not able to be home at the time of my cleaning, but "Pete" from Commonwealth Chimney Sweeps agreed to clean it while I was away. Pete left my basement clean and the boiler works very well after he was done. Pete also did a chimney inspection and left me the results of that inspection. All in all, I felt that Commonwealth did a very professional and timely job and I am very satisfied.

Great. Both were mostly clean so did not need swept at this time. Gave us a lot of information for future use and approximate costs for things we may want or need to have done. Very nice to work with. Just paid for the service call.

After moving into a new hire we hired the provided to perform and inspection of our chimney to ensure it was in working order and determine if a cleaning was required.  I called the provided on a Monday and was able to schedule a Wednesday appointment for that same week.  The Provider was very easy to work with in the scheduling process.  The provider arrived within the one hour time window they specified.  The provider examined out chimney and advised that we did not need a chimney cleaning as the chimney was in good condition.
