We hired Bob to replace the roof on our family home. We made our deposit on Monday and they were there on Wednesday. Service was very fast and looked amazing. I plan on hiring them again soon for .ore work.

I had the gutters replaced on my house and front porch. The existing gutters were very old and it showed. Plus, most importantly, some of the existing gutters were not really doing their job. Bob Sheetz made the estimate process easy, and scheduling was just as easy. They installed bigger and modern gutters that look like they belong on my house. I had a few questions and concerns on the way, and their installers were very communicative. Their office did a great job too. Overall, I highly recommend Bob Sheetz and will give them a call with any roof issues in the future!

Very responsive, showed up a couple days early on the weekend to get the job done. Quick, efficient and tidy.

Bob Sheetz was the lowest quote from 3 bids. I was impressed with how he fit me in within about a week of receiving my quote, during their busy season. Roof looks nice, they cleaned up well and finished everything up in a day! I would definitely recommend to anyone to use him.

Job went very well even with the many days of rain. Price was reasonable and workers and staff were courteous and friendly.

Good. My only concern is that I've been told by 3 people with knowledge of roofing that I overpaid pretty significantly. I was given an estimate but because of an active leak and heavy rain on the way, I did not get a second estimate - just agreed to have them do it based upon other Angie's list reviews.

Couldn't have been smoother. The roofing crew started exactly when they promised and finished 1/2 day sooner than anticipated. I would recommend Bob Sheetz Roofing to anyone needing good quality work at a fair price.

This company was professional from the start. When they showed up for the estimate they were clean & neat. We accepted their proposal( the only company to show up out of three called) The work was scheduled & completed in a timely fashion.

I am retracting my original bad rating and review (**below) of this company and this is my follow-up: On Tuesday evening (9/13) Mr. Sheetz showed up at my home with the previously anticipated work estimate (with a very fair price). Mr. Sheetz sincerely apologized and asked if I would be willing to give him another chance. I felt that because he was truly remorseful and stayed to endure my wrath that it would only be fair to give him the opportunity to redeem himself. Mr. Sheetz promised that the work would be done by Friday; Mr. Sheetz called on Thursday stating that they would be here Friday morning at 8:00 AM to do the work. As promised his crew showed up, they were very professional and completed the work in under 2 hours. Notes: I have only given them a "B" overall rating because of our initial disparity which includes why the "C" responsiveness rating. I gave an N/A rating for "quality" as I won't know until the next time the rain is driven by southern winds which will prove if they fixed my problem or not. I will say that they left no evidence that they had been here (in other words they cleaned very up nicely). Mr. Sheetz came by a short time later and assured me that if their fix does not solve my problem to contact him right away. In conclusion, everyone has a bad "day/week" and I guess I initially caught Mr. Sheetz on his. **Original review: I am wondering how Rob Sheetz sleeps at night: He came to my home on Fri. Sept 2 to assess my roof and siding issues - I have leaks on my 1st and second floors, which Mr. Sheetz observed the growing water stains, and a portion of my roof looked like it was buckling. Mr. Sheetz confidently concluded where the leaking is coming from and not that my roof was buckling, but that some of the shingles are sliding and giving that appearance; something he stated he sees all the time and both issues were easy fixes and that he would come by one day next week and fix it. I asked if he would give me a written estimate and he said he would drop it off on Mon, which was Labor Day, so I said that it could wait until Tuesday. By evening Tuesday he had not shown up (mind you he lives approximately 1/2 mile from me and has to pass by my neighborhood on his way home.) I call and leave him a message, thinking perhaps he forgot. I get a call on Wednesday that he will be coming Thursday to fix the roof, etc. At that time I remind him about the written estimate and he admits he had forgotten and that he would drop it off that evening. Also during this conversation I mention to him that I had looked on Angie's list, just because I like to see who I'm dealing with and what people say about them ... I am feeling very good and confident about him... I also mention that I saw there was a 5% off coupon, but since I didn't know about it prior I would understand if he would not accept it, he assured me he would honor it (BTW, he never gave me a verbal price for the work). Again, he does not come by to drop off the written estimate. On Thursday, late morning, again I call and leave a message wondering if he had gotten caught up and wondering if he was coming to fix my issues. You guessed it, no call back, no show. I'm very much looking forward to Mr. Sheetz's response and how he attempts defend his actions.

excellent work quick and courtesy no mess left behind

In April 2016 a bad wind storm went through my parent's neighborhood and ripped some shingles off their roof. The roof was in good condition but was older than we remembered. A day after the storm my brother recommended a roofing company so my dad called them and left a message. Keep in mind - my dad is from another century - he still has the notion that when he calls a company they will be overjoyed to have a new client and will immediately call him back. They didn't but still he waited. And waited. He realized that the storm would cause the company to be busy but he patiently waited "his turn". An entire week went by and the company never called him back. The next time I talked to him he was really disgusted "How do companies stay in business when they won't even call you back?".

I live 75 miles away from my parents and didn't realize they were having problems with their roof. They know I belong to Angie's List but "didn't want to bother me". I logged onto Angie's List and in two minutes came up with 3 roofing companies in their area. It was close to 6pm in the evening (after regular business hours). The first company I called I got (as I expected I would) an answering machine and left a vm. The second company I called - Bob Sheetz Roofing - I got a live person. I explained what happened and asked if someone would call my father and possibly stop by to look at the situation? Mrs. Sheetz said her son Rob would contact my dad the next day or the day after that (at the latest). I called my dad and said "I THINK someone named Rob will call you in the next 2 days". Late the following afternoon my dad called me to say that he not only spoke to Rob but that Rob showed up and gave him an estimate. Rob spent a lot of time explaining things to my parents, took his time and answered their questions and said he would fit them in the schedule as soon as he could. My parents were both VERY pleased and immediately agreed to have the roof replaced. They kept saying how courteous and personable Rob was and wasn't just trying to "rush" them. Understandably it took a little over 2 weeks to fit them in the schedule but it's understandable with the weather. In the interim Rob made sure a tarp was on the roof so it wouldn't leak. That gave them piece of mind.

The day of the roof installation the guys showed up on time and worked throughout the day. When they were finished they cleaned up completely and one of the guys went around to pick up any stray nails he could find. The roof looks great - no more worries about that!

I know this review is a little long on narrative and short on job details but for anyone who wants a company that will honestly treat you like you are a valued customer - I recommend Bob Sheetz Roofing. They did what they promised, when they promised and came through with flying colors. Best of all they restored my father's faith; in today's rush-rush mentality there really are family-owned companies that care about good customer service and quality work. This is one of them.

By the way - the first company from Angie's List I called on my father's behalf? They have yet to call back. Who are they? It doesn't really matter - we found "our" roofers. If any friends or family need a roofer - we will recommend Bob Sheetz.

I was fortunate to find Mr. Sheetz.  After a recent heavy rain, I found roof leakage thru my kitchen ceiling. I communicated thru Angie's List on a Monday and he arrived to assess the roof on the same day, gave me an estimate and was able to schedule the work for the same week. The existing roof turned out to be very poorly done by the previous owners and Bob had to replace much of the wood, soffit and fascia, remove two layers of shingles, and do several repairs. The team of workers were very professional and nice to work with. Much of the work was done during a cold spell and it had to be difficult conditions to work in. The final cost was more than originally quoted but Bob explained the necessary repairs and reasons for the additional cost. The roof turned out very attractive and much better than what was replaced. I would recommend this company to friends and neighbors. The workers were punctual and knowledgeable.

It took awhile to get started, the start date was pushed back a few times.
Once they got started the job went quickly and looks very nice.
We have one more roofing project and will consider Bob Sheetz Roofing.

They have the 3 P's - Prompt, Polite, and Professional!  I submitted a request through Angie's list over the weekend, and received an email back asking for my address.  On Monday Rob called me and said he would stop by for an estimate that eveing - they were calling for heavy rain in a few days and he wanted to complete the repairs for us before the rain came.  He was very polite and professional and did the work the next day.  The pipes were on the back of my house, second story so it was not an easy place to access.  I was having a problem with one vent boot leaking, but since my house is 13 years old and one was already cracked, I decided to go ahead and replace all three while he was here since that would cheaper than having him come back another time later.  He showed up with a helper and got right to work, finishing the job in just an hour or so, also in the evening. It turns out that all three vent boots were cracked so I'm glad we decided to go ahead with replacing all three.   He also looked at a gutter that we were having some problems with while he was up on the roof and discovered a ball and some blockage which he took care of for us.  He cleaned up before he left and didn't leave any mess.  The price was exactly as quoted which seemed very reasonable to me, and I can't say enough about Rob's professionalism and respectful attitude.  I would highly recommend Bob Sheetz Roofing, and in fact I did already give his name to a friend who is an electrician and looks for people he can trust to help with other home repairs.  We would definitely use this company again.
