BERO'S REMODELING

Work went okay. It took a couple of weeks to get the work done. We never received a written estimate until the day work began, even though it was promised. After they left, we discovered that a plant (and pot) was missing. There was dirt in the air register below where it was. We called Bero, and got a call the next day explaining that one of his workers had knocked it over breaking the pot. They had thrown the entire plant in the garbage. Bero offered to pay us for the plant, but did not seem to get that we were annoyed by the fact that we had to find it out for ourselves. When they came back for finish work, they did pay us for the plant. The quality of the work was less than desired. trim work was thrown together, light was visible through two of the door frames. We were able to fix one ourselves, but the other appears to be a warped door. We left messages with Bero's about this, but never heard back.
