LOWRY ELECTRIC

Did a good job but completely raped me on pricing. Got a quote done after they did work because my bill seemed very high. Talked to 2 of there competitors and they said my bill shouldn't have bin more than $600 max. Was charged $1200 after a $400 military discount. Not to mention they didnt give me a price amount for any of the work, just what they wanted as payment. If it wasnt a time sensitive issue I never would have went with them and will never again. I'll just go without electric before I higher them again.

I would have given them 4 stars before. I had used them before. They did good work before. I don't know why they did this. I will not use them again. A plumber came to my house to fix a clog. It was determined it was in the basement after taking apart the pipes under the sink and putting them back together that caused 3 leaks later on. They broke them. They used many of my own materials such as buckets, a step ladder and towels. The man cut into the pipe and the clogged material. It flew over my basement. I was very lucky that I had my personal items stored in plastic containers. There was no clean-up done. He used my good towels to wipe up some terrible smelling material on the floor that ruined them. This material was then walked through my house by the plumber. I cleaned up everything (including disinfecting) and had to throw ruined items away. I have still not been able to put my things back together due to time. A large amount of time was wasted to get this fixed in the end. This was only fixed after multiple calls, and then a detailed email documenting everything that had happened. I paid about $1,000 dollars for this. After multiple calls and a very detailed email to their company was this problem resolved. Some items were replaced, and some money was refunded as a "courtesy" . In the end it was fixed (hopefully). I received some money. I lost a tremendous amount of time, and am still out about $700.00 dollars now. I wish they came in, did their job with their own materials, and fixed it correctly with care. That is what i was expecting. A good job. I will not use them again.

horrible. the guy said he couldn't fix my faucet, he told me it wouldn't screw together because it was stripped - which it wasn't, he just didn't unscrew the nut. So not only did the guy try to sell me a faucet out of his truck (for faucet and install) it would have cost $990.00 - I was charged $49 for 10 minutes of his time to give me a quote and to not screw in my faucet (which my husband and i did ourselves later that day).

Service tech was informed I had fixed similar problem myself last year (fan just needed some WD-40). I was busy, tech told my wife it was not repairable, would require over $1000 in repairs. We called another HVAC company who came out and did the repair for $75, A/C is up and running now.

We bought a new air conditioner 1 year ago and it has already quit working. We called Lowry and someone came out and supposedly fixed it... Two days later it wasn't working again. We called again and this time the serviceman said it was clear it was the coil and they would be able to get the part in two to three days. It is now 10 DAYS later with over 90 degree weather and NO AIR... When I called again to get info, the person said the manager would call and we haven't heard from him. VERY POOR SERVICE.. STAY AWAY FROM BUYING FROM LOWRY OR EXPECTING ANY SERVICE!!!!!!

I use Lowry Electric for heating and electric.  Probably about a month ago they came out.  Last year they installed a new heating and air conditioning system and we use them yearly to come out and do the maintenance check ups and such.  They're very reliable and they do what they say there going to do and I mean they're not cheap but you don't want cheap necessarily, I mean, because cheap could mean lousy work.  Sometimes you have to pay for the service.  We have used them for 13 years now.  You can sign up yearly for $99, it goes down the more services you have, you know, the price drops a little bit, that includes a, for $99, a free inspection and they're constantly handing out coupons and, you know, things that lower the cost of their service when they come out.  I would definitely use them in the future.

This is for the plumbing division of Lowry.  Called on 6/23 because there was very low water pressure in our house.  They sent someone out 6/24 that was able to give us a good quote and get the job done fast.  He replaced our pressure tank from our well which was only 26gal and it was too small for our house.  He replaced the tank with a much larger tank, the control switch and also increased the size of our trunk lines downstairs to 3/4 PEX from 1/2in copper.  Water pressure was EXTREMELY nice last night taking a shower and flushing the toilet didnt matter much.  He will be back on Friday to also convert some of our other piping to 3/4 PEX.  EXCELLENT WORK!

Called on 6/23 for service and they sent someone out the next day.  I was able to use several coupons and Steve W. was very professional and made sure I understood the whole process.  Everything is working 100% and I would recommend Lowry to anyone needing a job done in a professional manner.  I have also had other work done in the past such as our AC unit, cable wire ran and some plumbing.  Excellent service!

Well, when I called and asked for someone to come fix the problem that we paid $300 to have fixed, I was told I would have to pay a $150 emergency service fee.  I refused and asked that someone come and fix the problem that we had been told was fixed.  I was told I had to agree to pay the $150 or no one would call me back.  I asked again to have someone call me to address the problem.  I was then called by a dispatcher, to whom I explained the problem.  He told me I would have to pay $150 to have someone come out today because it was a Sunday.  I explained that I had already paid to have the problem fixed, was told it was fixed, and was now having precisely the same problem.  He replied that it was probably a different problem.  I said I wanted someone to come fix the problem.  He said he would send someone only if I agreed to pay $150.  I said no.  He said this was like going to the doctor with one problem and then asking the doctor to fix something else.  Which was an inapt analogy, since (1) my husband is a doctor, and this happens all the time; and (2) it's the same problem.  He then said he didn't have anyone available anyway.  So, I guess if I had agreed to pay the $150, he would have found someone.  Moral of the story:  Lowry Electric - When you don't necessarily want your A/C fixed, but want to spend money anyway.  I will not use this provider again, and I will not recommend them.
